Avoid this guy at all cost!!! Total train wreck! He really needs remedial training a.s.a.p…

From the very beginning… saying things, then later to find out he didn’t know what he was talking about… tried to reach out for assistance, no one available to answer his questions so he would make up policy, then later put me in a very costly situation - TWICE! Very forgetful… also caused major delay when I had my things delivered on move in day and he forgot to remove the lock, after telling him and repeated several times the intended move in date.

Trying to charge me to have a 5x5’ U-Pack container dropped for unloading over night while I unloaded and put things into the storage… only later to find out I didn’t have to rent a parking space for unloading. He really should have asked someone before putting me through all of that back and forth, around and around!

I think he should have spent more time reading the company policy and rules!

He’s telling me one thing for exiting the unit and Rose told me something else…base on my experience with Erik, I had no confidence that he really knew what was policy or not! This guy was so dumb, I’m surprised he was about to fill out the employment application!

Not sure why he parks his POS car on the side of the building, making it nearly impossible to drive by the one side of the building to exit. He really should park out side the gate, not parked in the narrow alleyways of the storage complex!

During my exit of the unit, I had a bag of trash that I wanted to through in the dumpster, he yell at me and said… it’s against company policy! He’d have to charge me for one bag of trash! SMH, total train wreck this guy!

He was making it up as he went along… then again, perhaps he was so rude during my exit because I didn’t fill out the review when I moved in to the Public Storage.

Harassing me, every time he’d see me at the storage unit, begging me to post a review! Got to a point, I tried to avoid the guy when I stopped but to pickup items… in and out real quick to avoid him bugging me about an online review.

To be honest, I didn’t fill out the review when I moved in because, I didn’t feel he deserved the glowing “10” that he thought I should have given him…. Erik is very delusional about his competency!

The reason I didn’t fill out the review back then was, I didn’t feel he was all that good at his job and being honest on my review would have yielded a negative result toward Erik. I wanted to spare him the ugly truth about my move in and personal experience dealing with him. . After his behavior on 10/30/23, during my exiting the unit, I felt I needed to voice my entire experience so that others will know… Just in case you’re considering this location; don’t do it! This guy will stress you out with his incompetence!

Public Storage - Youngtown, AZ. I’d suggest looking elsewhere, this guy is not very good at his job and not smart!

I had originally given this manager and facility a great review. It Is clean. Now hat its move out time. I am realizing it was placed there to avoid me finding out my stuff was picked through as if I had died. I cant get involved in family situations you need a warrant. I guess i do since you allow people to store stolen property there. You can only change the gate code, transfer names and get involved when your making money. CHRISTINE YOUR stuff must be out by the time I Come in tomorrow. My son admitted it was my property that you kept from me to you. Sorry you believed my son that he was protecting it. Sorry you thought you were going to sale off my belongings or inherit my leather couch and big screen t.v. Yes Youngtown Bargain Storage is cheap that's why people choose it. You get hurt trying to clean out your storage. If your stuff is there one day out of a month your responsible for the whole month. Then dont make me swim for my stuff!!!! You were my sons choice not mine! The right thing for a business to do when they know a locked storage holds life saving meds and contents that belong to another person is to say get it out of here. That's integrity. I do not owe, nor have I ever owed any money to this place. This review is about rules they make you sign but dont follow, poor customer service, and insufficient lighting. Go to Uhaul it's a little more but there are no mice and its temperature controlled. CHRISTINE IS RUTHLESS. YOU HAVE TO BE TO PLACE A LOCK ON CHILDRENS CRIBS, BEDS, AND TOYS. AGAIN NO LOCK WAS PLACED ON MY POSSESSIONS I owe no money. THE GATE CODE WAS ALLOWED TO BE CHANGED. I DROVE 160 MILES ROUNDTRIP BECAUSE CHRISTINE CAN'T GET INVOLVED IN FAMILY DISPUTES. SOUNDS LIKE SHE WAS. MY LOCK WAS PLACED ON IT AS IT WAS MY STUFF! DONT RENT HERE. Dont rent unit 337 or 238. When it rains you have to move your stuff out in a lake your boxes collapse. Crystal is nice until you move out then if it's not swept your charged. They were more interested in making more money by placing mobil units they dunt care it blocked the only...

Renter Beware, Something fishy is going on. I'm changing my review to 2 , they keep raising their rates like crazy. It'll be a "0" soon, we're going to change to another facility. In under 18 months storage rent has gone up near $120 More a month. In less than 2 years!!! And they plan on raising it again soon. (Read the fine print at the very bottom of your bill this month, sit down first, it'll be easier to take the shock) Unbelievable scalping tactics going on here. they are taking advantage of everyone. And my unit is pretty small. When I leave (I'm stuck til the end of the month) I'm reporting their scalping practices to the better business bureau and the town council and possibly the town attorney. I've seen this happen before when they raise the rates so high you can't pay and they have an auction, make bank, and you lose everything. This looks just like that....
