I went in last Monday the 17th at 4PM to purchase a golf cart. Within 2 minutes I had the golf cart I wanted picked out. I told Perry which one I wanted to then be told “we close at 4:30”. I assumed this meant ok let’s get this done quick so we can get you what you want. I started filling out the application and he told me that I could take it home with me if I wanted too. I told him I’m already here and ready to buy. He responded with again “we close at 4:30”. I took my ID, told him I’m sorry for the inconvenience of being here and started to walk out the door. He said no let’s go ahead and sit down and get this done but it was beyond that and I left. I reached out to Rob, the general manager, on Wednesday the 19th. He was aware of what happened and seemed genuinely concerned about what happened. He said he would look into the golf cart I wanted and call me back. He called back about 30 minutes later and said the golf cart was already sold and off the lot. He told me he would find another one that matched my criteria and would call back Thursday the 20th. It is now Tuesday the 25th and I have heard from no one. We ended up going to a competitor and bought a brand new golf cart and have already had it delivered before I’ve ever heard back from this place. The people here are rude and disrespectful and the management seems to fall right in line with that. I definitely do NOT recommend this...

After researching options and discussing with cart owners in the community, the refurbished carts from Desert Golf Cars looked like the best overall value. My cart came with a 2-year bumper to bumper warranty and a brand new set of batteries.
About a month ago, I started hearing a whining noise and took it to the SCW location as that is closest to me. They diagnosed a rear end/differential problem and trailered it to the Youngstown location where major service is performed. It turned out to be a brake issue and was repaired at no cost.
The only issue I had was poor communication and updates on the status. After two weeks without a cart and another failed request to contact me, I went to the store and spoke with the owners. They took me out to meet the service manager and he explained that they had mixed up the paperwork. The repair had already been done, I test drove the unit and it was fine. They trailered it to my house. Thank you to Vicki and Seyrus for the help.
Overall, I would recommend the Yamaha carts and this company. They just need to do a little better job keeping customers updated on repair...
