From the moment I entered, I was greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality that you just don’t find in most places anymore. It reminded me of the kind of place you’d find in a small town decades ago, where the people behind the counter know your name and truly care about your day.
The store itself was charming, thoughtfully stocked, and clearly cared for with pride. Every aisle held something special, and I found myself enjoying the simple act of shopping—something I didn’t realize I missed until now. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, offering helpful suggestions and treating me like more than just a customer. I was made to feel like family.

The owner was also super nice and helpful at helping us pick out some awesome things. One thing in particular is their curated grocery bag we got for $30. My go-to for an Asian stir fry used to be just oyster sauce/fish sauce. Enter in “Red Boat Vietnamese Simmer Sauce” which is sold at this fabulous establishment. This sauce has really elevated my chicken stir fry. For those who want to make an easy chicken stir fry and need the breading to be GF, use corn starch instead of traditional breading.
