My doctor only uses this radiology or the hospital. All I need is a standard ultrasound as I am pregnant. I made an appointment and asked if there was anything I needed, specifically asked about payment. I was told I was part of a deductible plan and no need to bring anything. When I showed up for my appointment, the person processed me for intake, then 15 min after my appointment time, I was approached by the tech and told I had to pay in order to follow through with my appointment. I brought nothing with me as I tried to be prepared prior to my appointment. The tech was unfathomed by the fact I advised I called prior and was told no payment was required at the time of the appointment and told me I needed to call to reschedule. I had to reschedule because my doctor only uses this radiology place. And when I rescheduled I specifically asked for a call to advise me of my out-of-pocket cost so that way I can be prepared for my next visit. Here I am made the appointment over two weeks ago and I canāt seem to get an answer. Every time I call I get someone at the call center that says that they will pass along a message to the location to have someone call me with my out-of-pocket cost to make sure that Iām adequately prepared for the visit. But now weāre about four days for my appointment and still no phone call. Iām really upset and I guess I have to actually stop in there to get the information that I am asking for. I am at a loss and really would not come here if it wasnāt for my doctor. All I am trying to do is be adequately prepared for my visit. To make sure that I know my out-of-pocket cost if they requiring, and also that they can give me the sex of the baby in an envelope so that I can have a gender reveal without knowing the sex of the baby. Iām really not sure why this is so difficult. But Iām hoping maybe this review will light a fire under the staff. Iām really not sure why all the confusion and the chaos but Iām hoping that this can...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlthough the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful... the technician was not. I walk with a rollator, I'm 76, I'm in for a chest xray having been sick for 10 days with severe bronchitis... which she seemed not at all concerned about. She told me I had to stand up straight in front of the machine, I said I couldn't do that especially with nothing to hold on to. I was the one who looked around the side of the machine and saw a handle on the left so I looked on the right side but there was none. Trying to explain to her that I couldn't stand without support fell on deaf ears... she pulled over a poll on rollers for my right hand but it wasn't very safe. She said I had to put my arms over my head, I said I can't, they don't go up much at all. She finally just took that picture. Then she wanted me sideways but I was already shaky and had to sit on my rollator to catch my breath and cough. She never asked if I was OK... the first picture wasn't good so she moved me forward and took another one... but at NO TIME did she ever try to help me or hold on to me or steady my rollator to keep me safe from falling! Don't know her name, I'm sure it's on the xray as the attending tech. She needs some serious training in attending to handicapped elderly patients as well as her knowledge of the equipment she uses... she didn't even seem to know about the handle... and there NEEDS to be handles on both sides of the machine for this exact scenario. I also asked if my husband could come in with me and she said sure if he wants to get radiation! I should've known right then that it wasn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRecently Iāve had to come in a couple times for different tests, all of the visits were easy to schedule, the facilities were clean and up to date with technological equipment however, the appointment itself always encounters some sort of āsnagā. First time I was told to come on an empty stomach, after I was checked in I was told I needed a full bladder to preform scan. Resulting in what was supposed to be a 15-minute scan that turned into an hour and a half. Things happen, I understand. Considering the second visit was almost the same situation. I was called the confirm my appointment the day prior, informed to come on an empty stomach and arrive one hour early. Ten minutes before my scheduled time of arrival I receive a call that they are delayed an hour. I appreciated the call and arrived at said time, only to wait again well past the hour due to scheduled scan procedures vs what was approved on the insurance authorization. Considering clerical errors happen everyday I understand, but two times in a row? Todays visit once again took longer than needed due of the delay of running an hour behind as well as the authorization issue. Authorizations and scheduled procedures should be audited at least two days prior to ensure your company maximizes on patients as well as patients being able to count on your company for prompt services. Despite the delays the staff at both locations were very friendly and professional. I appreciate your...
