City park I s located within the Popular Wuse 2, by Diamond Bank junction. It's about the best of the public parks in Wuse Area, you can hangout here with friends and family, you can find all sorts of assorted drinks and edibles here, there's also about 2 to 3 football pitches inside city park, there's volleyball and lawn tennis court inside city park, on weekends groups of People meets here for their weekly exercise and workout, aerobics training also takes places here on weekends too, and it has expansive parking spaces for your car. On occasions such as public holidays, all sorts of merchants uses city park to display their wares for sales at affordable prices so you could look into their wares on such occasions to see if you can get stiffs at affordable prices. City park is central in town and you can easily navigate to anywhere you want to go from there. Trying to pay a visit to city park and you will love it.

City Park is located at Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja. City park is one of Abuja's leisure gardens that overs varieties of services. They have an astro turf field for soccer, an artificial pitch for like 5-A-Side soccer, and an impressive tennis court for kids. City park overs varieties of food and assorted drinks. The one of the best places to eat roasted fish, Nkwobi (Goat head), and Snail. It is a place where you can host your parties. The night scenery is amazing and the place is nice to sit out with family and friends. Customer service is average, they have huge customer base but are understaffed and so you might not be served as promptly as you wish or expect but the place is a nice place to relax. Check it out when next you visit.

City park is located in the central hub of the city of Abuja, i.e wuse 2 opposite discovery mall, this is a very lively place to be. The place is always full of activities, arranged park with a variety of sporting facilities, restaurants and halls. Large parking space with beautiful scenery. Lots of space , Lovely gardens if you are looking for an open air place to chill with family and loved ones I highly recommend it. I really loved that place and I have only been there just a few times. Good place to visit. So if you decide to chill out. Everything about parks and recreation is readily available there. The football arena is so beautiful with a clean toilet and convenience space too.

City Park in Wuse 2, Abuja, is a vibrant spot perfect for a fun day out! The lush greenery and open spaces create a refreshing escape from the city bustle. I loved the variety—Keje Grill’s tasty grilled fish and lively music set a great vibe, though drink options were limited. The kids’ area with trampolines and slides kept the little ones entertained, while the sports facilities, like the football pitch, were a hit for active folks. The park’s clean environment and family-friendly atmosphere make it a solid choice for casual hangouts or celebrations.

I went with my friends to play mini golf on a Saturday. We had looked at the prices on the link in their instagram bio and it said it was 3000 Naira. When we got there the sign at the kiosk said it was 4000 Naira and we decided to not think about it too much only for us to try and pay and the lady said it was 4500.
We then asked her why the sign says 4000 and she was rude to us and told us to look at the sign well. I'll attach a picture of the sign and I am sure that is says 4000. Even with the 7.5% VAT that they acknowledged was excluded from the price, it should have been 4300 not 4500. I'll also attach a screenshot from their own instagram link with the price. I understand that the economy is quite unstable but atleast update your prices so that customers are aware
The mini golf however was very fun and the man who attended to us taught us how to play offered to help us with pictures and was an absolute pleasure. I believe his name was Ismaeel. The equipment and course was well maintained which was very nice
On our way home, while we were waiting for our uber, we decided to sit at the water fountain at the entrance of the park. To our surprise, a security guard was shouting at us. We couldn't quite make out what he was saying so we walked towards him and he said "you should listen to your elders!". We had not argued with him or anything we just wanted to move closer to him to hear what he was saying. In any case, we are paying customers and your age, quite frankly, does not mean much right now. But I didn't say that i just told him we couldn't hear what he was saying and that we were sorry( I was not even sure what i was sorry for). He then told us we weren't allowed to sit there unless we had express permission from the owner. Maybe those were the instructions given to him but there was no need for him to speak to us the way we did.
Since the closest sitting area was inside the park, we just stood outside, waiting in the blazing sun. I will also attach a picture of the fountain (which had chairs by the way).
On our way out we saw another group of people sitting there and the man didn't harass them maybe because they were a much larger group than us (there were just 2 of us). Also maybe he thought because my friends and I were younger he could easily prey on us.
It's really upsetting that in Nigeria, even when someone tries to create a space where people can go and enjoy themselves, the people who run the park use their own hands to tarnish that experience.

I visited Central Park Abuja (Plot 174, Kur Mohammed Ave, Wuse) recently with family and friends, and we had a genuinely enjoyable time. The park is tucked in the heart of the city—so convenient—and offers a refreshing green retreat away from the usual office and traffic bustle. The landscaping is attractive, with shaded paths, well-kept lawns and gardens, and plenty of space for kids and adults alike to relax.
One of the big draws for us was the diverse activity options. The go-kart track is fun and a definite adrenaline-rush for anyone wanting speed and a bit of friendly competition. For the kids, the playground with swings, trampolines and jungle-gym setups was a hit—they barely wanted to leave. There are also quieter corners to just sit, chat and enjoy the view—perfect for couples or friends catching up.
The food and restaurant side is decent too. We ate at “Tapas on the Green” and other eateries on-site; the menu is varied (Naija, Indian, multi-cuisine) and the ambiance is pleasant enough for an afternoon or evening out. Parking and access were also manageable, which is a big plus in the CBD.
That said, a few things stood out that could be better: The arcade zone and some game areas felt a bit cramped and could benefit from improved cleanliness and maintenance of equipment. One reviewer noted dust and grime on game consoles, and some confusion in queues. Also, while the setting is good, prices for some activities (go-karting, paintball) were on the higher side — so it pays to check costs in advance.
Overall though, for families, friends or a casual outing in Abuja, Central Park Abuja ticks a lot of boxes: fun activities, greenery right in the city, dining options, and a relaxing environment. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars, and would recommend visiting—especially on a weekday when it’s less crowded.

Central Park Abuja is a fun, multi-activity location specifically purpose built and designed to cater to families and friends who seek to spend quality and memorable times whilst having tons of fun.
This park is situated within the central business district, between the Federal Secretariat and the National Mosque.
It is a very safe and secure location with round the clock security patrols, helpful and watchful staff are also always on hand to help, assist and secure guests and their properties.
The park has ample parking, well manicured lawns, an array of businesses ranging from restaurants to a pharmacy and games playground designed for kids.
It is one of the "must visit" locations within the city.

It is a very colourful destination with multiple outdoor activities like go-kart, Water Splash, paintball, mini golf, restaurants, indoor Archery etc.
It's also a beautiful place to hang out with friends and family and to take lovely photos.
On this occasion, I went go-karting and the Que was long. I spent up to 2hours waiting for my turn and the security guard in charge of giving numbers wasn't transparent in his dealings. There was foul play in giving numbers and passes to customers.
Some people would buy tickets then go engage in other activities and just when you think its your turn, you'd see them return, some in large numbers and they all will go before you do.
Advice: Try to go at least an extra hour earlier than you plan to - on weekends - so you don't lose light for photos like I almost totally did.
Outside that, go-karting was absolutely fun, I strongly recommend it!
As at March 2024, Each ride costs N10,000 per person and it lasts 7minutes. (Weekends)

The Thought Pyramid Art Centre (TPAC) Abuja is an art museum that with better planning and labelling of art work, it would be more interesting. There were statues and sculptures outside as soon as you enter the grounds. There was a wooden table that seats four people. The couple barely answered me when I greeted them.
On the ground floor, I met a young man who told me that pictures were not allowed in the museum. I said ok and decided to be a good boy 😂 I looked round the ground floor art and sculptures within 10-15mins. Unfortunately, I wasn’t much inspired at the art displayed. Neither after enquiring from the young man on the Greek philosopher displayed, which he had little knowledge.
On reaching upstairs, I saw a young lady taking pictures. I greeted her and told her that I was told pictures were not allowed. The young damsel just continued. I then decided to take some quick photos. I saw some CCTVs, but didn’t looked switched on. So I snapped away and left.

It’s a nice place if you love art plus you can actually purchase the art on display. I think the center will do more if the curator can organize art works with more information on the art and the artists. What makes this art work interesting? What’s unique about this artist and the period s/he created this work? I think this is what makes art meaningful and appreciated. I found myself often wondering why the artists made certain decisions. Sometimes, I could barely find the name of the artist. I also think it may be nice to arrange the art works thematically or with some sort of order or process that makes it more intriguing and not just “randomly” which is what I was told when I visited.
Notwithstanding, I think it is a nice spot and you should check it out to see the art gallery.

It’s such a lovely spot with many beautiful artifacts, but some improvements need to be made. Firstly, finding parking if the inside is filled up is difficult, so trying to expand the parking space would be great. Secondly they should be a board in the entrance, like a museum directory so each visitor knows what to expect on the different levels and/or locations. Thirdly a museum docent would be ideal to explain the meaning of each artifacts & walk the visitors through. I didn’t try the food at the restaurant but maybe another time, I hope it’ll be good. It’s also a good spot for hosting art events like exhibitions or book launches etc. I’d definitely be re-visiting another time.

I used to think I wasn't big on art until I visited this place recently. They had the most gorgeous arts on display. Very beautiful collections of paintings, drawings, images made from all sorts. I wish I could take pictures, but, since the arts on display were for sale, pictures were prohibited.
I'll definitely like to go visiting again, and purchase art as well. It was a great experience, I just have to say that again. Being there made me feel like a child in an assorted candy store. Loved it!
I also loved the art outside which I have shared with this review.
There's also a restaurant in the same building. However, I didn't visit it.
