Hayal Et — Restaurant in Tirana Municipality

We (group of 4 friends) visited Hayal Et recently. We were particularly looking for restaurants with 100% Halal food and that doesn’t serve alcohol. Hayal Et had the Halal Certificate on display at the front door which gave us confidence in eating there. It was also recommended by other travellers on TripAdvisor.

Unfortunately we visited on a Sunday when the restaurant was not really busy. We didn’t expect them to have very limited menu and wanted to have some starters before the mail course. We looked at the menu and decided on the full order (Starter, Mains and Drink), when we were placing the order, we were told that they done have any fresh Juices as it’s Sunday! We accepted their excuse on the fresh juices and ordered replacement drink.

We placed the order for the Lahmacun as starter and their Mixed Grill for mains, they accepted the orders however later came back to say they don’t have the Lahmacun either. That’s 2 out of the 3 items we chose from their menu was not available.

Considering the Lahmacun was a simple item and a starter, not having it available was not very welcoming for us. We ended up not having any starter and went for the mains only.

The mixed grill was delivered to the table within reasonable time. The portion size was generous and the food was delicious. It had a mix of Chicken shish, lamb shish, Adana kebab, along with bread and rice.

The restaurant was a well decorated and very clean. It’s an ideal and cosy place to bring your family, especially with young children. Service from the waiters was good, the food was served within 10-15 mins, likely because it was not that busy.

No Turkish meal is complete without Turkish Tea, they had some nice and strong Turkish tea to offer in a reasonably good size cup.

Overall, had a great experience at Hayal Et. It’s a fantastic restaurant for satisfying 100% Halal meal. Hopefully when you visit they have all the menu items are available. I’ll definitely be back if I come back to Tirana again.

If it was not for the disappointment from not having the Lahmacun & Fresh Juices (on a Sunday) I would definitely have given them full 5 star....

From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. We wanted to dine outside and the owner picked up a patio heater and brought it to our table.

Our waitress Monica greeted us with a warm smile and spoke perfect English. We came in later in the evening so we had the pleasure of having a great conversation with her and the owner.

Monica recommended an entree and I’m so glad I listened. I ordered the Beyti Kebab and it was perfect. The sauce was delicious and they can adjust the spiciness to your preference. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The contrast between the hot dish and cool yogurt was perfect. My husband had the Beef Shish Kebap and really enjoyed it. We also took two Beef Shish Kebab Rolls home for our children and they were packaged well and perfectly delicious. To top it all off we enjoyed some Turkish tea and a special treat of 3 Cold Baklava Pieces. The coconut was our favorite!

The staff here really know how to go above and beyond to provide excellent service and care. We wanted to say a special thank you to Monica for your dedication to excellent customer service. Your commitment to the restaurant and your customers is evident and appreciated.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hayal&Et for a classic Turkish breakfast with my friends Overall, the experience was delightful. No need to go to Turkey :D

The food was exceptional. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, providing an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine. From the fresh bread to the diverse array of cheeses, olives, and spreads, everything tasted delicious. Lastly, a very important component of Turkish breakfast, unlimited black Turkish tea!

The service was commendable. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

The decor and atmosphere were inviting and warm, creating a comfortable dining environment. The ambiance perfectly complemented the meal, enhancing our overall experience.

At $15 per person, the breakfast was reasonably priced considering the quality and variety of the food offered.
