A warm friendly welcome when we arrived at 6:30pm on a Monday night. We were immediately shown to a table for two (inside) which was perfect given it was 38degrees. Menus provided in English (noting it's also online). And we ordered the most amazing dishes: (1) Homemade cheese, tomato and arugula flatbread. A sensational fresh dish - save some of the bread for the meatball sauce! (2) Cypriot style salad - arugula, grilled haloumi, brown lentils, cherry tomatoes. Fresh and tasty. (3) Stuffed eggplant - delicious! (4) Meatballs with pistachio and yogurt. Absolutely the best dish as it's so yummy (some reviews said it was spicy - it's not - just full of flavor). Idur and Ana were very attentive and friendly staff. And they serve the best red wine - arguably one of the best in the world - Kallmeti Prestigj is stunning. A few other reviews mentioned a 7% tax being applied to the bill. We experienced this and note there is no mention on the menu (the only sour note which hopefully the restaurant corrects soon in the spirit of transparency). Great value for money with fantastic food. Note: You can also book online for the restaurant but suggest a few days before (www.era.al) Credit cards accepted.

Love this place!! We went to Oda the night before and had a bad experience so we decided to try Era as they are the two most popular and honestly, Era blew Oda out of the water!! We have been so impressed! Went back twice and plan to go once more before we leave. The meat dish with yogurt and pistachios is now one of my favorite foods in the world and I’ll be drooling thinking about it until the next time I’m in Albania, hell! I might have to move here just for it! The stuffed eggplant is very good, the Lima beans with sausage is unreal!! My partner had a pizza and absolutely loved it. Do yourself a culinary favor and experience the wonder of Era. From the outside it’s a bit drab, and yes…the sign looks like one from a gas station but don’t let it fool you. The portions are huge, it’s very cheap, the draft beer is aces, and the staff are wonderful! It does get packed so make a reservation (we haven’t either time and have only waited tops ten min but still). I would also recommend coming early because a lot of items get sold out (ie the pancakes, which we are dying to try and the stuffed grape leaves) Go go go!

We arrived to this place because of the amazing google reviews and people saying they would come here daily if possible. The food was good and not expensive, but i do feel like the place is a bit over hyped First there was a really weird non functioning que outside, which wasnt the best start to our experience, but then when seated we were helpen quickly by an older gentleman who was very patient and kind! We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes but that was too much for us bc it all got served at the same time which felt a bit pushy. We did enjoy the dishes but it was for us too much at once. I would prefer to first be served aps and then main after. After the dinner we shared a little desert to end the day which was very nice. The place itself is known for being “cheap” but we still ended up spending quite a lot, bc we wanted to try all kinds of stuff. (3693 lek/ €36,92) Overall a good experience but not super super special. If you go here i recommand the meatballs with pistache

We went here because of the high review's, but we really can't get why they are so high! From the moment we arrived, we were ignored. Tables entering later, then us were already served their drinks while we hadn't yet ordered them. So we had to ask if we could please order. We ordered the Lima beans in clay pot as an appetiser. For the main, we had the pork chops and pasta with pumpkin, parmezan, pistachio, and some other ingredients. Everything came at the same time, which seems to be normal in Albania. The lime beans, not in a clay pot, were way undercooked. About 5% was good. The pasta was also still very hard and undercooked. Also, for a main, it was very small. The pork chop was tough and not seasoned. During dinner nobody asked if we were satisfied. After dinner, we wanted to leave and had to ask for the bill three times!! Again, being ignored. All in all run from this place, there are far better places to eat in Tirana! Also above the table was a very dirty filter.

It was good, nothing more nothing less. We ate way better in other restaurants, in Tirana as well as in Berat, Gjirokaster, Ksamil or Himare. The food is well prepared, the atmosphere is nice. I mean its not bad at all, but the hype it gets is overrated. My main criticism is that the food could have a lot more seasoning. Its all a bit bland, at least what we had. They are advertising "traditional food" and sure it is but the same traditional food tasted way better especially in Berat and Gjirokaster. The service is good. English speaking, friendly and fast. They have a lot of employees. They sure know how to run a restaurant. Prepare to wait a bit of time, as this place seems always crowded. We walked by two times after the visit and it was always packed. You can go there to make a picture for yourself. You can have a nice dinner there but i dont understand the hype and personally would not go there again. Maybe the expectations were too high.

Was recommended by my hotel when I requested a pizza Italian restaurant. I was seated right away upon arrival for dinner at 545 pm. The restaurant was clean and had a historic classic vibe. Ordered the Cotto pizza and Greek salad. Service was friendly. The food was brought to me fairly quickly considering the restaurant wasn’t empty. I like my pizza cooked a little longer but that is my preference. The pizza was tasty and the sauce is very light. Very cheesy. The Greek village salad was mostly tomato but refreshing. Could have used a bit more Virgin oil. I never saw a waiter or waitress again lol. The prices are comparable to other restaurants. Overall I rated it a 4. No wow factor. Atmosphere was very nice and the quality is diffentanly 100%. Would I return, yes. Seemed everyone was enjoying their meals. Just took forever to pay and leave.
