L'INCONTRO Caffe & Bistrot — Restaurant in Tirana Municipality

Simply a bad experience. Stopped to have a drink on the square at sunset. My friend wanted tea but was told that they didn't have any tea (even though it's on the menu). Ok, kind of strange because what do you really need for tea? She asked what hot drink options they had and the server rolled his eyes for some reason. It was very strange. She asked for clarification of an item on the menu and his reply was quote "Really? You don't know what that is?". She ended up getting something. I ordered a Puka beer and he brought me a Peroni beer. When I asked why he didn't bring me what I ordered his reply was "that's what I have" and walked away. The location is ideal but the service was actually insulting. Do yourself a favour and go next door to the Botanical Cafe where they are always pleasant. We only went here because Botanical was full. Will not return. And if the management is reading this, our visit was on 09 March at 17:45 and we were seated at a table on the steps down by the square. I sincerely hope you speak with that particular server...

do yourself a favor and do not come here. we were bombarded by beggars, we didn’t carry cash so they asked for my food instead. The restaurant is okay with the beggars walking around. the server said service(tip) is not included and how much we wanted to tip, which is not normal in Albania unless the service is top notch. anyway, i said 10% tip and henry gave himself 20% (after doing the math it was more around 15%— which is fine! but it is the PRINCIPLE of the matter!). overall, it was a horrible experience. i won’t be back. they asked me to give a review, so this is my honest review. i don’t recommend it.

walk 1/2 mile away from the square and get cheaper coffee, that is also better quality.

one positive— they accept cards! 💶

I didn't thought I could find such a lively little place at City centre of Tirana. It is on all meanings, lovely, lively, full of positive people and full of positive energy.
