Review of Garden Restaurant in Centrum, Albania
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in the heart of Albania, the Garden Restaurant is a must-visit! Nestled in the vibrant centrum, this gem offers a diverse menu that caters to all tastes, serving everything from mouthwatering Italian dishes to fresh sushi and hearty burgers.
Food: We indulged in a variety of dishes during our visits. The Italian pizza and pasta were simply divine, bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The sushi was a standout, beautifully presented and incredibly fresh, making it a perfect choice for seafood lovers. And let's not forget the burgers! Juicy and flavorful, they were paired perfectly with delicious balls of natural food that left us craving more. Their breakfast and brunch options were equally impressive, offering a delightful range of choices that could satisfy any morning appetite.
Drinks: As for drinks, we sampled three different cocktails: piña colada, margaritas, and a refreshing concoction whose name escapes me. Each drink was expertly crafted, refreshing, and the perfect complement to our meals.
Ambiance: The atmosphere at Garden Restaurant is enchanting. With soft lights, beautiful flowers, and calming music, it creates a fantastic ambiance. The modern design paired with charming Albanian service made each visit feel special. We particularly appreciated the fast service, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall Experience: We were so impressed that we returned three times! Each visit confirmed that this spot is a treasure in Albania's culinary scene. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a cozy brunch with friends, the Garden Restaurant is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy delicious food in a beautiful setting. Highly...
Read moreCompletely overrated. Yes the places looks aesthetically beautiful but that was about the only good thing about it and trust me theres lost of beautiful places in Tirana with much better experiences. The waiter was incredibly rude - seemed annoyed when we simple asked for a menu in response to them asking 'what do you want'. We were told there was no food; we'd come specifically for dinner so we asked why there wasn't any food and was then brought a menu despite people next to us having pizza brought out and there clearly food available. This was at about 7:30pm and there was lots of other people around. We went to order some curry and the waiter came off as almost aggressive and said no - we asked what we could order from the menu then rhey flicked through the oages, pointing and turns out the Indian portion was not available, something that they ought to have just said when giving us the menu instead of acting annoyed. We felt SO uncomfortable so we just ordered some beers and decided to go somewhere else for dinner and even that proved to be a huge mistake. They came out in cheap plastic cups. When we asked for the bill we were told 2400LEK for 4 beers - absolutely ridiculous and not what was in the menu. The waiter told us it was because it's Halloween.. we were obviously shocked and he then changed the price and said okay 2000LEK. We have eaten out lots in Tirana and never had the bill cost be negotiable.. we asked for the printed bill and it was 2000LEK, still completely overpriced and not what was advertised and he had the audacity to be adding 20% on top! Needless to say there was noway we were going to be tipping this guy or...
Read moreMillennium Garden in Tirana was a great spot for a relaxed evening out. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight — stylish, cozy, and with a lively energy that makes it perfect for drinks with friends or even a date night. The decor is modern and elegant without trying too hard, and there’s a nice flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
The food was really good overall. You can tell they care about presentation, and the dishes were fresh and well-prepared. While it wasn’t the most mind-blowing menu I’ve ever had, the flavors were solid and satisfying. The cocktails were definitely a standout — colorful, balanced, and served with a creative touch. Great spot if you’re into well-made drinks with a little flair.
Service was decent. Not slow, but not super engaging either. The staff was polite and professional, though they could’ve been a bit more attentive at times, especially during peak hours. Still, nothing that ruined the experience — just small things that could be improved to take the service from good to excellent.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend Millennium Garden if you’re looking for a stylish restaurant with good food, beautiful drinks, and a great vibe. It’s the kind of place that works for both casual and more dressed-up occasions. I’d go back, especially for the drinks and...
