Average Food, Disappointing Service at OPA
Rating: ★★★☆☆
I recently dined at OPA, and I must admit that my experience left much to be desired. While the food was passable, the service fell far short of expectations, ultimately earning the restaurant a 3-star rating.
Food: ★★★☆☆ The food at OPA was, in all honesty, rather ordinary and failed to leave a lasting impression. It didn't offer the unique or special flavors that I had hoped for. While it wasn't terrible, it was far from the outstanding culinary experience I had anticipated.
Service: ★★☆☆☆ The service at OPA was where the experience took a significant hit. Despite there being more than five waiters on duty, it was astonishingly challenging to get their attention. Even when one of them did notice me, they allowed me to wait for an extended period before attending to my needs. The lack of attentiveness and prompt service left a sour taste in my mouth, making the overall dining experience less enjoyable.
In conclusion, OPA falls short of being a top-notch dining destination. While the food may be acceptable, it lacks the special touch that sets exceptional restaurants apart. However, it was the disappointing service, marked by inattentiveness and delays, that impacted my visit the most. I hope they can improve their service to match the standards expected of a restaurant of...
Read moreQuality: Taste: The food was amazing, very tasty and with flavor.
Ambiance: Atmosphere: For this location it was okay, nothing special, the place could need more change into it. Cleanliness: Clean but could be cleaner.
Customer Service: Staff Friendliness: The waiter that served us was new, very friendly and nice helpful too Efficiency: For the large order that we took it came quickly.
Price: Value: For the price that they have it is reasonable, I’ve spent around 70€ (7000 Lek) to try out everything for two persons, and lets just say you get your moneys worth.
Location & Accessibility: Ease of Access: Really accessible, by foot, public transport or by car. The location being near Tirana’s main square make’s it a good location to go to grab a bite to eat.
Facilities: Wi-Fi/Power Outlets: sadly no WiFi, they had this issues for more than two years now. Outlets are available but not in preferably locations. Seating: mostly the seating and dining areas are good, but you have your tables that are wobbly and some chairs that are wonky.
Menu Variety: Selection: They have a good number of options to pick, but the its mainly just a lot of variations of one food. (In this case kebabs)
Overall Experience: 3.7/5 This place is worth to go to and eat if you are in Tirana. Give it a try for yourself !

Read more'Gyros' and 'Souvlaki' are both popular Greek fast foods, but there are some differences in the way they are served.
Gyros. PREPARATION: Gyros is cooked by turning the meat in a vertical rotisserie. The meat is thinly sliced, juicy and tender. Serving: Usually wrapped in pita bread and served with tomatoes, onions, french fries and a special tzatziki sauce (Greek yoghurt and cucumber sauce ).
Souvlaki. PREPARATION: Souvlaki is prepared by putting the meat on small skewers and grilling it on the grill. The meat is cut into bite-sized pieces, usually pork or chicken. Serving: Souvlaki can be served on a skewer or wrapped in pita bread.
According to this definition, this place seems to be serving Gyros, assuming that it uses a vertical rotisserie. But it was different from a shawarma. The service is quite polite and fast, and the atmosphere is...
