Alberto's Lobby Bar — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

It has been my dream since 2000 to spend a night, at least one here at the Hilton, finally HAPPENED. I decided to spend my last night in B.A. at the bar Alberto's lobby bar. I started with the espresso martini. Perfection!!! I tried a second one, my signature DRINK EVERYWHERE I go Cosmopolitan, this is the best Cosmopolitan I have ever had. I started there to chat with my server. Since I work in the restaurant industry as well, watching them work, the teamwork is something you can see. No drama, people seem so peaceful, enjoying the evening. It gave me joy, the Bartender, young lady was friendly, funny a cute. Had an early dinner at the Hilton Lobby Bar. Tried the two local beers, Patagonia and Guinness . Liked the latter as it is lighter. My partner had a Bombay Gin and tonic, a nice pour. We shared 2 From the Tapas menu , Empanadas and Chipa. Both were very good but the Chipa was a bit too doughy. Bar ubicado dentro del Hilton, muy lindo diseño como lo más destacado con TV en cada lugar. Para empezar cuando quisimos reservar nos dijeron que no hacen reservas, nos llamo la atención por que vimos carteles, le dijimos que vimos los carteles y nos dice que es solo para huéspedes la reserva, nosotros éramos huéspedes, por lo cual ahí nos tomo con más atención y al final pudimos reservar. No nos gusto mucho esa mirada discriminada por qué capaz estábamos con remeras deportivas para estar cómodos de venir de una caminata. Estaría bueno que lo modifiquen eso. En cuanto a la comida pedimos picada para dos, unos langostinos apanados, un trago mojito y una cerveza tirada patagonia. Sinceramente de las peores picadas que probé, muy insulsa con pocas cosas y con poco sabor, me llamo la atención por el precio, la cantidad y lo poco gustoso. Será que probé muchas mejores con más variedad y sabor. El trago y cerveza bien, y el postre era degustación de flanes que eso sí estaba rico. Los mozos amables.
