Reasonable prices for quality peruvian food. Premises resemble peruvian cevicherias...uncomfortable chairs, poor decor, hot in summer, cold in winter... Small kitchen prevents quick service. Probably the most original peruvian food in town Avoid if lookin for romantic, cool or elegant dinner Public garages on same block. Neighborhood is not nice at night, flee back to Av de Mayo one block away,. In daytime save time to visit Palacio Barolo landmark building resembling dantes inferno...

Apparently there are a couple of different locations for this restaurant. This one is small, with murals on the walls, and a small staff. The food was excellent! The feel was definitely local, not fancy, and there was no pressure to turn over the tables and hurry you on your way. Even the appetizer selections were sizable in their portions, and I would definitely come back to try more of the options on the menu! It was a wonderful place to go with friends and share several...

Just returned from a great lunch here. This little restaurant has a plain decoration which with an air of family kitchen (pictures of farm chickens hanging on the wall). The Peruvian food is singularly fantastic. I tried a Mixed Ceviches (a bit spicy but really good) and a pot of Chicha Morron--a kind of corn-based fruity drink which tastes like wine but has no alcohol. The price is very reasonable and the waitress very amiable. The only improvement for them is to...

It's a hole in the wall Peruvian restaurant that's full of locals. I stopped by for lunch and tried to decipher the Spanish menu. I knew I wanted ceviche and a pisco sour. Those were easy to find among the several menu pages. The memory of the one I had in Lima has been haunting me for several years. I ordered the big ceviche. This restaurant delivered a large ceviche plate experience with it's own interpretation. The pisco sour was closer to what I remember.
