After visiting south of Argentina and missing Indian food, we were so happy to find this place and went for dinner as soon as we landed. The food was quite good. It was spicy, flavorful and tasty. We were back once more because we liked it so much. While the food was good, there is one guy there quite unfriendly. He goes out of his way to be unfriendly. They got our order on time since we had to catch a show but he made it seem like its better if we leave since he would take long. He could certainly change his tone. Also it says they open around 7:30pm but they don't, we stood outside till 8 and even then the food didn't come out before 8:30 or so. He did make those expectations clear but he was rude about it. All the other waiters are friendly and polite. By 8:15 it got quite packed. I recommend the food here but don't expect everyone to be...
Read moreThis is my review after my second time there in a few days trip to Beunos Aires. After travelling for a couple of weeks and wanting desi khaana, we chanced upon this quite close to where we stayed. Took a chance and loved it so much that I hugged and I thanked them. Exactly like Indian food, the creamy richness. Loved the malai kofta and the green juice - the ginger mint 🍋. Loved the garlic naan and the jeera rice. It's very comforting. Excellent hosts! Very attentive. They will ask your spice meter - how hot you would like your food if you are a desi. It's a great break from also the wonderful local food, however desis always need to come home to daal chawal. The second time got the food delivered to the place where we stayed. Very quick delivery. The food was like the restaurant, not soggy and...
Read moreIt’s hard to screw up Indian food, I mean I love Indian food so it’s hard to not find it delicious, but for this place I’d say it’s average. Nothing special, nothing bad. Felt like it was way too over priced for the quality though. First time I ate at a restaurant in Argentina and felt it was over priced, and by quite a bit. I don’t like having regrets so I look to the positive side, and that’s the fact that it’s Indian food. I won’t ever go back, no do I recommend it. If you’re desperate for Indian by all means go, but there’s a price to be paid in desperate times. For the price we could have eaten a couple times at places with food that tastes better. The ice cream sucked but everything else was pleasant, just not special. If it weren’t Indian food we’d probably give this place a...
