Having spent 2 months almost daily frequenting the Temple bar in Palermo by Plaza Serrano, I was excited to visit the same bar in Puerto Madero.
However, unlike the wonderfully friendly staff at Temple in Palermo, the service at this Temple in Puerto Madero was atrocious. On two consecutive days, we ordered two NEIPAs and we were greeted with one nice NEIPA and the other NEIPA with nothing but froth.
A member of bar staff tried to pass this off as “normal”, as if serving a full glass of froth and a full glass of NEIPA is acceptable.
It required an extreme amount of frustration and repeatedly asking this member of staff to request a replacement NEIPA that was correct.
This happening twice in two consecutive days which is unbelievably poor service.
This is a premium beer and should be served correctly, and I never once in 2 months had this issue at Temple in Palermo.
I would advise anybody wanting a good beer with good service to instead visit the Temple in Palermo or seek another nearby bar along the promenade - this is what I will be doing after this happening twice in two...
Read moreHave been to their another bar were didn’t like some things and hoped here would be better. The location is nice. As expected beer wasn’t bad but they definitely struggle with service and management. I had to hint down 3 different people to pay the bill. Told one girl to bring the bill and she didn’t bring it even after 30mins and mo she wasn’t busy, I saw how she was standing at one place for a while talking wit colleagues. Then told the second guy and third guy brought the bill, said something very fast in Spanish and didn’t let us say that we are paying now or at least tell him to speak slower as we don’t have perfect Spanish. Also birds that looked like they are sick and dying were walking on the tables where people are supposed to it and they didn’t even bother to shoo them away....
Read more5/5 — A gem for craft beer lovers and neurodivergent folks alike.
If you’re into high-quality craft beer and genuinely kind service, this is the place. The 1-liter IPAs and APAs are rich, aromatic, and perfectly poured—no shortcuts, no compromises, just honest beer that hits the spot. I came with my Kindle just to spend the afternoon reading and sipping, and ended up staying longer than I planned because the vibe was just that good.
But what really makes this place special is the human touch.
Priscila and Julieta offer the kind of intuitive, respectful attention that makes a difference—especially for neurodivergent folks like me. Sensory-friendly, no pressure, just warmth and care. Whether you’re going solo or with someone you trust, this is the kind of spot that quietly becomes...
