Rodizio Puerto Madero — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

I’m hesitant to be too critical of this place since I’m a guest in this country, but there are a few things I should mention.

It is an excellent value for all you can eat, and it is served professionally in a fine dining setting.

I’ll get right to the point. All of the meat was uniformly overcooked, and it didn’t help that they were slicing it off with the grain, rather than against it. The meat would’ve been perfectly fine cooked a little less, or braised low and slow.

The items on the salad bar were quite outstanding. Wide selection of charcuterie, including very interesting deviled eggs, and a nice beef tartare with olive oil and Parmesan.

The wine list is outstanding although as a foreigner, a very modest Malbec seems very impressive to me, since we don’t have them at home.

I went to try something new, and I got one. A bad one. Dirty, tastes not good, charge more.

When the server guided me to the table, the table mat, dishes and knife were all dirty. And I could see a tiny spider crawling on the table. And when I went to side bar to get some food, there were flies above the food.

Salad tasted not good, not bad, but the meat and sausage was indescribable. Sausage was too hard to cut. Meat was too dry with little juice.

Dejó de ser el Rodizio de hace años. Dónde quedó la variedad de platos? Dónde quedó la buena atención? La encargada y algunos de los mozos (especialmente una mujer rubia) SÚPER PREJUICIOSOS. Fuimos un grupo de amigos con un menor, para pasar un domingo relax (les debe haber ofendido que no fuéramos de etiqueta). Desde el momento que llegamos se notó el prejuicio y discriminación hacia nosotros, cuando bien pagamos lo que corresponde, al igual que cualquiera que quiere comer bien y confía en un buen servicio y trato, que en realidad no recibimos. La señora rubia persiguió a uno de mis amigos cuando este se dirigía hacia el baño, preguntando en forma prepotente hacia donde iba (estaba bajando las escaleras, es claro que no pensaba escaparse); luego, esa misma moza vino a cuestionar a la mesa si "el nene iba a comer en algún momento o solo pensaba usar el celular", algo que definitivamente no le incumbe en absoluto, máxime cuando no molestaba, no tenía el volumen alto ni alteraba en forma alguna el clima del lugar. Nos pidieron dejar nuestras carteras y mochilas a la vista (como si pensaramos robar algo); cada vez que alguno salía afuera nos seguían y vigilaban de la puerta, más jamás dejamos la mesa sin ningún comensal como para que desconfíen de ese modo. La atención pésima!!! Nos sentimos discriminados en todo momento, porque vimos perfectamente que esas "exigencias" no se las hacían a otras mesas. En cuanto a la comida, ya no tiene amplia variedad en el servicio de platos fríos (sólo ingredientes para ensalada, matambre, lengua, algo de fiambre, y dos variedades de sushi).
