Don't let the unassuming appearance fool you – this little restaurant is a powerhouse of culinary talent and a truly relaxing place to unwind. The online reviews are absolutely deserved! We ate here for two days straight (4 meals), and each meal was better than the last.

The beef is exceptional – perfectly tender, juicy, and served with incredibly flavorful sauces. Even a seemingly classic dish, like the chicken breast with roasted potatoes, is elevated to something special. The potatoes, in particular, were a testament to their skill. Everything is beautifully presented, and the visually appealing dishes only enhance the already amazing taste.

I loved this place so much I went 3 times in total!

I tend to go for a late lunch when things are quiet and it has a very cozy vibe like I’m eating with family.

The staff are lovely and really kind! Like they remember you which is really sweet.

The portion sizes are great and even I as someone who can eat loads sometimes struggled to finish a starter + main.

I don’t have a reference point for empanadas size but they were way bigger than I expected and really delicious.

They have a main dish with beef, and noissette potatoes or a similar one with patatas which is amazing.

My husband and I had dinner at San Sebastián consecutively over the last 4 nights and cannot rate this amazing resto-bar high enough. The food is absolutely delicious, generously portioned, reasonably priced, and when paired with a fantastic bottle of Malbec, it makes for a truly memorable dining experience in El Chalten.
