Have eaten in a few nice places in El Chalten, this was not one of them. Would advise avoiding this place if at all possible and going elsewhere. Food - extremely poor, the chicken was enormous but tasteless, the beef in the burger was terrible, the bread was stale both the starter and for the burger. More so the burger bun had only half defrosted. Chips were ok - but the meal left both my wife and I feeling very bloated and sick. Drinks - red wine was freezing cold and not great considering this is Argentina, the beer was probably the worst beer I’ve ever had - they don’t do any lager, only apparently an IPA which looks and tastes like pond water. They also didn’t have any sparkling water. Service - really felt sorry for the only waiter in the place for the whole place with approx 40 covers, we had to order drinks twice and were waiting for 20 mins each time. Decor and ambience -...
Read moreOur worst restaurant's experience in El Chalten :
1/the restaurant proposed an "happy hour" that was completely false, with beer as the same price than the normal ones !
2/They take forever to serve you even if nobody else is sitting at the bar
3/They don't even know how to serve beer and put a lot of foam in your glass, with a glass not full as it should be
4/Since they don't take Visa card, they brought us to a pharmacy pretending that we would been able to pay : it was a mistake since the device was unfonctionnal. Despite, they even threatened to call the police and to force us to pay in cash although we told them we don't have any !
We sincerely recommand to avoid this...

I kept trying to fish more meat out, but there was nothing.
I was so disappointed because I was so excited to try it and wanted to like it. They also charge 300 pesos per person as a service charge but require you to tip on top of that.
Overall, it was the worst meal I've had in Argentina.
On a positive note, the bread is delicious, and the service is...
