Cervecería Grut '84 — Restaurant in Ushuaia

We visited here twice on our recent trip. Hands down, the best food and drink experience we’ve had in Argentina! We’ve spent time in Buenos Aires, Bariloche, and Ushuaia and Grut 84 far exceeded both our expectations and our other experiences.

The service is exceptional. The staff has fun - both with each other and with the customers. They take the time to listen, to give great recommendations (I tried some great beer!), and to check in with us repeatedly. That creates a fun and inviting ambiance that encourages everyone to have a good time, to play games, to laugh, and to enjoy life. And combined with the awesome music, it of course creates an amazing atmosphere - mixed with both locals and tourists.

This place is exactly what we were looking for in our visit to Ushuaia. They played fun music to help set the vibe. The staff was the friendliest we had our entire time in Argentina. They even recognized us when we came back a second time. The food was also phenomenal. I had the patty melt, and my husband had another burger on the menu. The burgers and fries were absolute perfection both times. The drinks were also great.

I cannot stress enough how much you want to go to this place. If you want a spot where the locals hang out, this is it. I recommend getting here between 8:00 and 8:30 PM at the latest as it fills up quickly, and it’s difficult...
