Love the concept of this place - pick your beers out the fridge, pay for them (very good prices!!) and hang out as long as you like. Or order burgers or fries and feel like you won a bingo game when your name is called over the PA system. The Birra - a hidden gem in the heart of Ushuaia! Honestly, this is a lovely place with a great location, an amazing beer/wine/liqueur list and delicious food, and a classy woody interior. Simple things always work for bars - here is a selection of burgers (even veggie ones!) and french fries, a source of elevated pub grub. It’s okay experience. The beer is good, and the burger is ok. They don’t have waiters. You have to order, pay in advance, and when your food is ready, they call your name and you have to go to the kitchen balcony and get it. Every time you got empty glass you have to go to the bar and buy your beer. What bothered me is the fact they don’t explain how the bar works once you get there.
