The Kond House — Restaurant in Yerevan

Everything was awful:the waiter just wanted to sell their product. First we asked if they have fried vegetables and if they could bring them fully, not cut. They gave a positive answer, but brought grilled ones and cut. Second we wanted village potato and they brought just 1 potato, undercooked, and it wasn't the potato we wanted. And the price was very high for just that 1 potato. And third we ordered Jack Daniels whiskey and it wasn't the original one, just cheap mixture of vodka and water. And it was also very expensive for its quality. After it we had nausea. So once again I wanna say that everything was awful,,, of course except for the place,...

I went to this place a while back and enjoyed it so much that I decided to make it my main spot for celebrations.

This time, we had made reservations in the smoking area a week ago. We arrived on the day of the reservation, 15 minutes before our reservation and were informed that they cannot accomodate us.

I was looking forward to spending some quality time at this place but they ended up disappointing me.

Quirky tumbledown Kond mansion turned family-run evening BBQ-bar joint in a hidden corner of downtown Yerevan. Plentiful indoor and outdoor space to drink and chill. Dark corners, creaky floorboards and ancient furniture take you back in time to a Soviet makeshift bohemian underworld. Whether or not intentional, the result is definitely cool. I'll give it 5 stars when it's non-smoking.
