Anahit Gaboian is a great, friendly, and helpful person. She always asks us if everything is good or if we need help with anything. She always ensures that we have everything and that my wife is doing well. Me and my wife we both was taking medicine so we always need to have enough water. She always left more water than other housekeeping. She never asked me to write her this review but other housekeeping asked and I did that simply because she asked. But Anna deserves the best review.
Edgar Barista: Edgar is the most excellent person I have met at the bar. He is always easy to talk to and helped me a lot with to-go boxes for my wife.
Victoria Front desk: Victoria is a friendly and easy-to-talk-to person. She always asked my wife and me how we were doing, and she specifically inquired about my wife's well-being, which was especially thoughtful since my wife was recovering from surgery.
Maria: The first time we met, Maria was at the check-in counter. Whenever I talked to her, I felt that I'd be heard and didn't need to repeat myself. She helped me with hot water. When I asked the staff at the bar to get me hot water, they denied it and told me that "they could not give me hot water." I went to Maria, and she went to the bar and told them to get me hot water. She told me that the bar staff didn't know that they were allowed to provide hot water.
Hotel Maintenance or Engineering: They are quick. I called reception a few times with problems. The first issue was with the TV. I tried to connect HDMI from my Mac to the TV to watch my movie. At the TV's menu, there was an option to select HDMI to mirror the computer screen. However, the maintenance staff member who showed up told me that this function doesn't work because viruses can damage the TV😃. I have been mirroring my Mac to my TV at home for 6 years and nothing happened. The second issue was also with the TV. We turned on the TV, but the screen was black. A younger guy showed up and spent 3-5 minutes trying to fix the TV. He was clicking on everything and I wasn't sure what he was doing. Then he called an older guy, who seemed to know how to fix the issue. He started turning the TV on and off, multiple times. He also removed our card for the lights about five times to turn all the lights off and then back on. I asked him, "Do you think it's okay to do all this in front of the guests?" He told me, "No, it's not, but what can I do?" He spent 5-8 times turning the TV on and off, or around five to eight minutes, and he finally brought the TV to life. It's so disappointing for a hotel to try to revive a cheap TV so many times in front...
Read moreI booked four nights at this HIX for my Armenia trip where the experience is very pleasant and satisfactory. Upon arrival, the kind front desk agent Hakob allowed me for a very early check-in (around 9AM), after I explained to him that I would leave very early on my departure date (around 2AM) as an exchange. The hotel was opened around 2018; partially due to the pandemic, the facility is in great shape - brand new and modern; bedding is comfortable and cozy; breakfast was another highlight - the selection is great and the food, especially the local cuisine food, was delicious which is definitely above the breakfast standard at the majority of HIX (save some good ones in China region). Location wise is super-convenient - 5 to 10 minutes walk to Republic square to enjoy the singing foundation show and shopping and dining experience, and close to the metro line and a lot of bus routes (near Republic Square); the airport shuttle bus will drop you in Republic Square and the taxi ride back to the airport (around 2AM in the morning ) is 1700 local currency (~USD4). There is a common park with good restaurants in front of the hotel, which is so convenient for both work-out (running around the park) or dining. Finally the people working there are very friendly, considerate and patient with guests and they all speak English fluently.
I definitely recommend this hotel to future...
Read moreIncredible stay at Holiday Inn Express Yerevan! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was only matched by the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Viktorya at the reception desk and Shant, the hotel manager.
Viktorya was an absolute delight to deal with. Her bright smile and friendly demeanor set the tone for our entire stay. She efficiently checked us in and answered all our questions. Her attention to detail and genuine interest in ensuring our comfort were truly impressive.
Exceptional service provided by Shant, the hotel manager. He went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Shant's dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction. His warm and approachable nature made us feel like we were staying with old friends, rather than at a hotel.
The hotel itself was immaculately maintained, with comfortable and clean rooms, a delicious breakfast spread, and a convenient location. But it was the people that truly made our stay unforgettable, with a special thank you to all the other colleagues that made our stay fantastic! I would highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Yerevan to anyone looking for a fantastic stay.
In short, our stay was truly fantastic and we can't...
