Haleb Store — Local services in Yerevan

The store has some excellent food products and natural soap (amazing to keep your skin young and healthy) from Syria and Lebanon that you won't find anywhere else in Armenia. The Baklava is surprisingly good considering the price as is some of the local organic produce such as the homemade red chilli and the more expensive but excellent honey as this is one of the few places in town where you can buy genuine and non-corrupt honey. The service is courteous and the lady owner is the typical Armenian from Syria who is a terrific saleswoman (they have a reputation for that) and she says that everything on sale is amazing and a must-buy but the unfortunate truth is that some of the items on sale are a scam, i.e: the olives were of extremely poor quality and the za'atar was horrible. I think it was at least 5 years old and I made a mistake of not tasting it before buying. The products might be of good quality, but the service is just horrible. The 2 girls working on the shop are so rude , they won't even answer to your hello and thanks or even goodbye. What's even bizarre , they are lazy to guide you what to buy , especially when I bought products equalling almost 12000 Armenian drams.
