Was visiting yerevan for 2 days and 3 people recommended me to go to ktoor. Hence, expected a top notch service and quality but ended seeing a commercial, over advertised place. It was 10.30pm and post my flight, plus intense gym I was very hungry. Decided to go for chicken soup and dolma. Waiter was a bit player and sarcastic, when asked which dolma to order according to his recommendations, he couldn't explain properly hence I decided by myself. Pricey a bit, ate tasteless soup and couldn't digest 1 piece of dolma, meat inside was horrible and wine leaves were overly bitter. Oh, cutleries were forgotten, I had to ask waiters to bring me spoon, knife, fork etc and the reaction was as if i was a dumbo asking too many things. Really? What in the world is wrong with them?
Overall, would never come back to this place. When asked the bill, the waiter was surprised seeing untouched dolma, had to explain him it was horrible and he went on and on about types of dolma and how they're made etc. I just paid and left. He didn't give a peanut about removing it from the bill or any other compensation....
Read moreI am very disappointed with the place. It was my first time there, but I will never go in again, because I did not like the attitude of the staff at all. Before ordering, I asked the waiter what kind of dish it was and found out that, apart from meat, it has vegetables and their fresh homemade bread. When the dish was brought, it turned out that the said vegetables were 3 small pieces and the bread was not fresh and at least a few days old. I called the waiter and told him that the bread served was not fresh. He insisted, convinced that I was wrong, that it was baked in the morning. I ordered bread to be brought to me separately, which was fresh and delicious. I called the waiter again and told him to try and see that the fresh one is the bread you just brought, not the one served with the meal. The waiter insists that it was put in the oven, that's why it tastes like old bread. I heard neither apology nor regret. The attitude was indifferent and arrogant. Bread is a small detail, which is a direct manifestation of the approach to the customer, but it is very telling. I didn’t like the...
Read moreThis place was recommended by someone I know and I was really excited but unfortunately disappointed. Food is below average - no taste. But staff are really the main reason why I rate this place bad. Arrogant, not attentive, not approachable, with attitude (lady at hostess desk - I approached to ask for a washroom and she told me the way without even looking at me and rolled her eyes). The waiters (all men) are the same. Very rude. As if they hate working there. When we ate, we asked for a menu to check to order something else, instead we were given a check, which we said no we asked for a menu, and the guy reacted really weird - he was disappointed and didn’t even say a word, made an angry facial expression and left irritated. We were going to order more, but since his act ruined our appetite we only asked for a dessert and decided to leave. So far this place has the worst service in Yerevan, which I’m super shocked, as all other restaurants and bars we went...
