Nice pub, good food,but very noisy at busy meal times. Have eaten here several times with great food, but the noise level detracts from a possible good experience. This was commented on each visit by my friends, so proving this is not just my personal judgement. This would not be a 'kid friendly environment' in any way.

I find this situation poor as it is not difficult to solve. Just proves this pubs business focus is on the profit level and not the customer service and experience they're providing! This can be experienced in some other pubs - but not all! This needs to be called out to be the large problem that it is, and it is time to address this! There are measures available to solve this, is not difficult for the pub to implement!!

It is very well known and understood how to mitigate excessive noise in crowded environments. With them saying that this 'is expected' in a pub is a total copout, and is proving that their customers experience is well down on the list of their importance! I WAS a regular, with a large group of people we ate here after our monthly meetings on a Monday, UNTIL last Monday. What a poor Mixed Grill I was served! The sausage was no better than one I could have bought at Coles. I ordered my meat medium and I got a barely cooked Lamb loin and a couple of small bits not much bigger than 50cent pieces of beef that were soooo overcooked it was terrible. The chips were unexciting, the gravy tasted like it was out of a packet (I wasn't asked if I wanted tomato sauce) The strip of bacon was dry, had white stuff all over it, and just tasted like cardboard. The reason I will never go back, is not because they chef stuffed my meal up totally, but because even though the waitress came to the table on multiple occasions, she never once asked if our meals were ok. I do not think a patron should have to raise the topic as it is embarrassing if they are in a group to raise a quality issue unless they are asked. If I have anything to do with it, this hotel has now lost 8 meals every month...
