My visit to Dominos Modbury on 10/08/24 was very disappointing. While I was waiting for my order, I saw a drunk man being let into the staff-only area by an off-duty employee. He started causing a scene, shouting and laughing loudly. Things got worse when he started targeting a young employee who was just washing dishes. The drunk man tried to hit the employee multiple times, forcing the staff member to quickly leave to avoid further trouble.
To make matters even more alarming, this individual broke the main door glass and got into physical fights with others who seemed to be his friends from Dominos. The situation escalated so much that the police had to be called to handle everything. This incident made me feel scared, and I noticed other customers were also uneasy.
I urge the owner of Dominos Modbury to review the CCTV footage from 11/08/24 between 10:30 and 11 to look into this troubling behavior. It's concerning to hear that the drunk man might have been friends with the on duty supervisor, which could explain why no immediate action was taken against him. It’s really important to ensure the safety and well-being of both employees and customers. Additionally, some people inside the store were not in uniform, which makes it hard to know who is staff and who is not.
It’s crucial that action is taken against those responsible for this incident. The drop in service quality at this location is worrying, and it’s essential that steps are taken to prevent such incidents from happening again...

Guys, I was in your store for 40 MINUTES, waiting for 3 pizzas that had been ordered online at 5.30pm (for 7pm). I walked out at 7.44! The onscreen list of orders appeared to be completely out of sync with ‘real time’ and what was actually happening. I kept asking whether my order was ready (as I could see piles of boxes full of pizza - but these pizzas were not being connected with customers...but were just sitting there, getting cold). Turns out my order was sitting behind the counter somewhere (not on the hot shelves) for 30 minutes or more...why? Because the sides that came with the order were not made (and no one thought to communicate this to me...as I was standing in the store for 40 minutes, waiting and asking many times - I was always told “it’s not quite ready yet” when actually the pizzas were made and getting cold). Guys, the business will go bankrupt if you run it like this. In the end we had luke warm pizza and no sides. We ordered in advance, yet this seemed to work against us. Sorry, but this is beyond bad. I could have left and said, please keep it. I can’t say it more strongly, this is no way to run a business. Invest in an ordering system that works. Invest in up-skilling your staff. Read moreThis store was in a shocking state, understaffed and hectic. I ordered a single pizza tonight online and upon waiting for the order to pay, I received an error code. I rang the shop to confirm if my order was received. Upon ringing the store I was then be put on hold, I waited and was left for a while, so decided to hang up and drive to the store as the money was taken from my account. Upon arriving at the store I was met with other disgruntled customers with the same issue. I was then told the online system was unfortunately acting up tonight and they had not received my order. I would therefore have to wait the weekend fri, sat, sun and return Monday/Tuesday for a refund - quite frustrating but online systems aren’t always reliable. I then reordered to be told AFTER ordering that it would be atleast a 25-30 minute wait. Therefore, I drove home to return 30 minutes later. I was then met to frantic staff, where I was about to be handed my box but upon restating my order before paying I was told my pizza was made incorrectly and that they had run out of half of the ingredients. The employee then stated I’ll quickly remake it now. Frustrated, I had come this far I waited again - 15 minutes later I paid and returned home. Returning home I have noticed the base is actually incorrect with limited to no topping at all for the available ingredients. I’m now left with the saddest looking product - half the toppings - and a lot of time wasted. Oh and also THAT amount of hassle...
