Funk Coffee + Food — Restaurant in Adelaide

The coffee at Funk Coffee + Food is excellent, and the staff are not only friendly but also thoughtful and clever. The whole place has such a welcoming vibe. If you have staff like this, it speaks volumes about the manager — what a wonderful place to enjoy great coffee and feel genuinely cared for.

I had a meeting there and arrived a little early, so I ordered a ham and cheese croissant (delicious, by the way). Just as I took my second bite, the people I was meeting showed up and they didn’t order food — so I felt too shy to keep eating mine. I handed the plate back to the waitress, probably looking very sad about it.

A few minutes later, she returned with my croissant beautifully packed in a paper bag so I could take it away. That small gesture of kindness absolutely...

Coffee was nice and the guy making the coffee is always friendly and professional. Wasn't impressed with my food, I got a toasted roll and the salad/rocket was not added back into it after being toasted (not the first time this has happened). Also, the staff member taking my order was clearly not happy to be there. A simple request too, from someone who has worked in the service industry, please don't call your customers "love" or "dear" it's not...
