This place gets worse and worse everytime I order from here. Honestly, I start to blame myself that I order here anymore. I used to get McDonalds once a week as a treat for the family. I got sick of always getting the wrong stuff, missing items, sauces or burgers made wrong. Not to mention straws never exist in this place. I stopped ordering McDonalds all together because of this store alone and for the first time in 4 months, I thought I’d give it a go again. Oh how stupid I was to do this. Didn’t get any of my drinks, ice cream was missing, no sauces and then to top it off they couldn’t even make the new burger correctly. First of all they put so much sauce on the thing that the box had a pool of sauce in it which then drenched the burger which didn’t make it appealing at all and didn’t bother eating it in the end. They must have a lettuce shortage to because they never put lettuce on any of their items anymore and it didn’t even have the correct chicken in the burger. I worked at McDonalds when I started working and it really isn’t that hard to give a crap to begin with, everything is made with signs above your head to show you what goes on everything and at the end of the day everything is sitting there waiting for you. All you need to do is assemble it and you can’t even do that right. No standards what so ever and you’re so quick at trying to get everything out of the door that you end up missing half the stuff. Even before writing my review, I looked at other reviews left and almost everyone has the exact same issues that I’m describing. If a store manager or regional manager gave a damn, they would read what feedback gets left for the store! Read moreThis is quite literally the WORST McDonalds I have ever been to. Every single time I have come in there is a screw up which is absolutely astonishing.
Among my favourites are a burger missing a patty, 24 chicken nuggets left out of my meal forcing me to drive back from my home (only to be handed cold chicken nuggets that were left on the counter without so much as an apology) as well as just never following requested orders.
Tonight I ordered two hamburgers without the sauce and a choc softserve at 8:16pm. It took until 8:42pm to receive our order. In that time numerous people came and went with more complex orders. We werent even forgotten as i was told they were 'waiting on the hamburgers' - the simple and basic burgers on the menu without a reason as to why it took so long.
Of course before entirely leaving I made sure to check the burgers in the car, and lo and behold, despite waiting almost half an hour, there was sauce. Ive let it go other times but tonight after wasting so much of my time already I pointed this out. Burgers were thrown out, and after further waiting i finally got replacement burgers without sauce - but also without onion.
The Hungry Jacks at Pelican Plaza never screws up. Other Maccas Ive been to in the state dont mess up. But this McDonalds has an exceptional talent for screwing things up - I dare think perhaps even intentionally given their track record.
Should you be desperate enough to bother going, make sure to check your orders before leaving and expect no apologies for the consistently poor service - frankly the only constant ive come to expect...
Read moreSo disgusted in staff i went through the drivethru ordered a bundle for 4, and changed one of the drinks to a large salted caramel frappe. Got to the first window paid and asked for reciept as I drove to the 2nd window I notice she put it through as a medium, the lady at the 2nd window Georgia was too busy talking to another staff member that was just leaning on something noticed I was trying to get her attention and ignored me. Then when she opened the door i explained to her i ordered a large and she said it went through a medium i said can I have a large please she said you would have to pay the difference i said yea thats completely fine how much is it? She walked off rolled her eyes and came back saying $6.50 but i need to go around again in the drive thru. I said I didn't want another drink just want the medium upsized as I asked to begin with. She said she cant do that and I'd need to go around the drive thru again to return my medium drink and get it organised for a large... the attitude she had aswell firstly ignoring customers, secondly the attitude in the talking and behaviour rolling eyes multiple times. Either this Georgia needs some training and other workers around as its disgusted, don't work in this sort of industry if you cant handle it.
