Rockford Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Adelaide

It has been years since I've been to this place and probably back when it was called the Barron Townhouse.Then it catered exclusively to overseas stars who either played at the Festival Theatre or Her Majesty's. A truly wonderful place to have a dinner. The menu while not over crowded, has a good selection and the prices are extremely fair. Not many places in Adelaide where they fill your wine glass nearly to the top, but the Rockford was very generous with both food serves and wine service. All three of us were treated to brilliant service by our the friendly waiting staff, Jennifer and Natalia. Look, it's not your 'flashy' over the top decorated restaurant, but it is value for money with some very good food and service. We will be back VERY SOON and recommend to all...

I booked a week ago through website. But only 4 hours before my reservation, I was received the email that telling me I should change the booking time because they close the kitchen at 8pm(My reservation was 8pm). Then how come I could make an appointment on the time? They said they call on the day around 4pm but it’s too late and I was not able to answer. So the prawns are about as average as you can get. The service the same very average but that master stock pork belly is absolutely sensational. My problem with this restaurant is the name as it is not resembled in the menu. I will go back for that fantastic pork belly and try other dishes that may increase the rating. To the cheff thank you but a carrot slaw really get some fresh ingredient and not carrots for goodness sakes your belly deserve better than...
