Saffron restaurant (SA) — Restaurant in Adelaide

Being a student and finding cheap filling lunches has been difficult since moving to Adelaide but since I found this place not even a 5 minutes walk from my campus, the insanely affordable and good quality food they offer has made this my place of choice for a quick lunch dinner or treat. Considering this is my first kebab I didn't really have a baseline to compare it too but when I tell you I got 3 of these in one week I am telling the truth. The lamb is tender juicy and flavourful and compliments the chicken perfectly, combined with in in house garlic sauce makes for one hell of a combination. The fresh salad adds a refreshing bite to the kebabs and enhances the flavour of the beautiful meat whilst adding difference in flavour. The restaurant itself is insanely clean and functional and reminded me of the family owned shops back home and gave me a pleasant experience. For the 1st time ever at any restaurant or anything else the person who cooked our food which was 2 yiros and chips and a drink, let us sit down and enjoy our food and drink and Quinn and i had a wonderful conversation about anything and laughed about it! After all that we got up with full bellies and very satisfied customers and paid the man, and then we left his business. We will be coming back for 2nd and 3rds and etc... Thank you very much!! Pretty good yiros. Tried it after a friend regularly orders the yiros off of Uber eats. The lamb mince was delicious and overall quite tasty. The bread was a bit hard and dry which let the meal down overall. $18 for a large yiros, fries and drink. The large yiros is actually quite long and I was very full afterwards. Decent value.
