Sector 17 Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Adelaide

We had Very disappointed experience today, 😤😤we will never ever recommend anyone here anymore, 😷I could even give them 0 star if their would be a option but there is nothing like that. Anyway Firstly we had booked a table for 7 people for 6:30, we came and placed at 6:50 for on-tray, after 45 mins we went to the counter and asked about our order then they said “sorry new girl forgot to give your order inside the kitchen” 2 tables came after us , they got served first , even though they finished their food before even us still waiting for out food, After 1 hr waiting we got wrong order, and the girl who was there she said no no you did placed order this chicken pizza, when we asked show us the invoice then she created a new order and showed, where you can easily see the timing of order, I have ordered 2 tandoori paneer pizzas , they gave us 1 chicken pizza, And then on-tray and mains came all together on the table .😐😐😐 Not just this, we have been served old or Stale salad , I have attached the photos of carrots, we ordered butter naan, and there wasn’t any butter on them, when we asked to put butter on naan, they gave us the butter in bowl said “You can apply for yourself” which is so unprofessional, so disrespectfully have been treated, When we complain about it on the counter, the girl replied I don’t know anything about this I am only at the counter, you can talk to the person who is in the kitchen, even though she was the one who took the order and didn’t give in the kitchen and This is a serious problem with food safety, who will be responsible if anyone from us get the food poisoning from this stale food , we had a 7 year old boy with us who was eating, seriously very disappointed with the customer service. We did order jug of salted lassi, which didn’t even served on the table. They said we will not charge, its not about the money, we didn’t come to create any drama, we came here for the food because we were their regular customers, but not anymore, We still Did pay for the food , Please everyone careful, health and food safety is important don’t play with people’s life. This whole situation explained for the business owner, who should pay attention towards the food safety. My aim wasn’t to hurt anyone’s feelings but this is important because whatever is happened to us today, it can happen to anyone...

I am uncertain as to why this establishment has received such high ratings, as our initial experience was far from satisfactory.

The aforementioned situation pertains to their service, which was among the worst I have encountered. We arrived at 6:15 PM with a reservation and departed at 7:21 PM. Our total consumption consisted of a $10 pizza and a Laccha paratha for my child.

I ordered Kadai paneer, but the server mistakenly brought Kadai chicken. When I sought clarification, he suggested we could "adjust" since we had already consumed chicken pizza. We declined this suggestion, and he assured us that he would provide a replacement. I also inquired about naan, to which he promised a substitution within three minutes. However, the replacement curry was returned approximately six to eight minutes later and was once again the incorrect dish. Upon questioning the server about this, he inquired whether we could accept the incorrect order without charge.

This situation occurred at 7:12 PM, nearly one hour after our reservation. It is noteworthy that there were only two people present in the entire restaurant, which raises concerns about the...

After travelling over 360 kilometres and attending a late show we headed in towards the city but at 10.30pm not a lot was open and honestly we came across ( Sector 17 ) and before we even entered the restaurant my wife commentsed on the beautiful aroma as we reached the front door WOW, a very friendly welcome as we arrived and guided to a table as our young staff member brought us the menu and jug of fresh cold water after viewing the menu we ordered , and again wow my wife ordered the vegetable pizza and I the more traditional Indian curry, OMG, the flavours were just magnificent and each dish plentiful, I can certainly recommend the mushroom 65 and the goat curry with a side bowl of rice and the perfect garlic naan bread. We didn't realise the closing time but at no time were we made feel that we should hurry up and leave, asked to meet the chef and we did what a lovely young lady to all at Sector 17 thankyou so much you helped us finish off what was a long and busy day.
