Absolutely DISGUSTING service!!

*Carefully review which store you are reviewing!!

Walked in 10/6/23 @ 8:15pm and was met by incredibly poor service by the lady in the photo.

I’ve previously had their yiros which tbh is absolutely shocking. Not even close to Yianni’s (Hindley St Adelaide), or from former owner Yianni at Yiannis on Port Quay. So why do we bother? We attempt to support local

So, in light of not having a good previous yiros experience I thought about grabbing some hot chips. I had to repeatedly ask the lady that I would like Extra Large Chips.. surprised I don’t want a yiros?

The chips were a very small portion at $12.50

I have to be honest and say the salt is very good. But with so much salt on the chips one would have thought I’d asked for high blood pressure, not seasoned chips.

Cannot recommend this place, even on my third attempt. There’s not even a good Greek joint nearby. I say leave it to the west side.

Yiannis the Parade should close its...

I live in Norwood & for years have been going to Yannis for yiros. The last two times, tonight being the last, the yiros was just awful! The meat was lacking in flavour, the garlic sauce was tasteless & soaked very quickly into the pita bread making me wonder what they had done to the yoghurt sauce. It was really soggy & the whole thing lacked tomato & onion & was just full of lettuce & not much else. We were charged $30 for two yiros & small chips & neither of them had any flavour whatsoever. I actually rang & gave them feedback & how disappointed we were & at no stage did they say come back & we will give you another meal. All that was said was we will pass it onto the kitchen! Will not be returning to Yannis ever again so don’t waste your money on this yiros - it is completely tasteless!!!!!! Very, very disappointed. I think they are cutting corners with the garlic sauce & the meat - it was just...

They have ā€˜redeemed’ themselves on my 2nd visit.

It wasn’t a good experience for the first visit. I got there about 11.30am during weekdays. Staffs were there inside. You could see it from the outside they’re working on the counter. When I went in trying to buy some food, they sent me away, saying ā€œWe’re not opened yet.ā€

I double triple checked their opening hours per stated on their door. Surely it wasn’t me reading incorrectly.

Walking out confused why it’s not yet opened (like what they said) and with no explanations from the staffs. They then walked to the door and locked it.

As I felt like to have a kebab on that day, on the 2nd visit, I went about 1pm. This time, they didn’t send me away.

Ordered the combination yiros $17.80 and had it takeaway. It smelled real good and the taste as per expected by...

Go here for the Yiros! It’s got to be the best we’ve ever had. The lamb yiros is a family favourite but the prawn one is good too. The place offers casual dining and comfort food. You’ll find pictures and souvenirs from Greece inside. It’s a great takeaway option too as the meal is prepared pretty quickly. Vas, the lady that looks after the restaurant, is such a gem of a person and it’s always great to catch up with her. We love this place for its authentic Greek food and heritage.
