We arrived in Bowral hungry on a cold blustery winter day. Found this inviting looking cafe and were seated quickly at the beginning of the lunch period - cafe almost empty. Staff were welcoming and helpful, took our order promptly which was 2 coffees, corn fritters and soup of the day. However, the wait was almost half an hour, in which time three other tables (who arrived and ordered after us, larger groups) were served before us. When my soup arrived, it was delicious - garlicky cream of broccoli with 2 slabs of toasted sourdough- but the soup was the tiniest serve I have ever had. Served in a bowl smaller than an ice cream bowl, it cooled very quickly. I love soup on a cold day and usually ind it good value for lunch. Most cafes give a very generous serve - almost too much - but this microscopic serve made it not good value. At $16 the ingredients would have amounted to about $3 at best. My hubby‘s corn fritters were also smaller than the average serve. Yummy, but give...

Always enjoyed coffee and something to eat at Kaffine since it opened. After today I will not be back due to service at morning tea time. I was seated awaiting usual table service. Staff stood chatting to each other behind the counter. When I couldn't get eye contact with staff, I walked out. Explanation given as I walked out was that they were cleaning. Fourtnately there are other good coffee shops in Bowral with service.

After online apology from Kaffine, I tried again today (29 August) and service was back to normal, coffee and apple and fig sweet- delicious. I did not take up the offer of the voucher because I wanted to give them another chance without identifying myself. Cafe was busier than earlier in the week and service...

Cute cafe on the main street in Bowral. The service and coffee were good but two main issues: first, the inside of the shop was blasting the heating and music at full, making it very unpleasant to sit inside. And second, I'm pretty sure the chicken burger I got was made with meat that had gone off. When eating I noticed a sort of sour taste but thought it was lemon juice- that was until right after the meal when I got very ill. Given how their kitchen looked that day and the fact that anyone who goes to the bathroom needs to walk through the active food prep area, I guess it's not surprising, but altogether quite a...

We were in Bowral during the recent Australia Day long weekend and decided to give Kaffeine a try after walking past and being approached by the friendly staff. The staff were attentive and kind enough to also amend the order for the pulled lamb burger to a pulled pork burger. The fish and chips was amazing along with the sweet potato chips which came with the pulled pork burger. In addition to the food, the drinks were on point. We definitely walked out with full bellies after and would recommend to others to try when they are in Bowral town.
