Astor Terrace Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I enjoyed the banh mi. It was a very good size for the price. I enjoyed the freshness of the salad and other toppings. The atmosphere was cute. And the service from staff was very good.

However there are some improvements I would recommend. Firstly the banh mi was missing Vietnamese butter and pate. The bread became soggy was too soft which made it soggy quickly. The flavour was ok but it didn't have an extra omph and got a little boring about half way through. The ratio and salad was also off as there was slightly too much salad to meat. This also made it hard to eat.

Overall a good experience but there is definitely room for improvement. Looking forward to seeing...

Cafe is clean and tidy service was prompt. Does lack a bit of flare compare to other cafes in and around the city. Good for a quick bite. The roast pork Bahn mi was $15.50. Good portion size and the meat was juicy, salad was fresh and crispy. The crackling was Chewy not to the point of being inedible but could have been better and the lettuce and mayo kind of detracted from the taste. Plenty of pickled carrots.
