Last day in Brisbane - I wasn't aware of the Public Holiday - so limited options for coffee & breakfast. Had been staying at the co-located Mantra, so this seemed an easy choice. Comfortable seating - good options with inside and outside seating, non offensive lighting, nice relaxing music at an appropriate volume. Basic service, no greeting, no please or thanks - had to repeat my coffee order three times (large flat white, full cream milk, 1 sugar). Asked if breakfast roll could be toasted - was told yes. Put in a microwave for 60secs. Breakfast roll - now mildly warm and strangely slimey- handed to me without plate, knife or napkins. Coffee drinkable.

The place was lively and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately my cocktail was undrinkable. I sent it back and was refunded and brought a new one promptly. I ordered 2 small plates being the scallops and the pork belly. Both were OK but not great. The pork belly on its own was overcooked and dry but when eaten with the salad was tasty. The meal was decently price but I don't think I'll return for food.

Enjoyed a quiet Tuesday evening. Staff (Ashley) was excellent, friendly and attentive, and patiently answered questions about menu items - I've updated a picture of the menu, as it changed a few months ago. I consider the prices very decent and highly recommend the Angus burger (and the White Rabbit dark ale ;) ).

Booked a table for a surprise birthday lunch for our colleague. Requested at the time of booking a cupcake with a sparkler (or something similar) and a cocktail as a surprise (milestone birthday and all), and said I would pay for same.

Cupcake and cocktail were forgotten entirely. Had to ask to get our glasses refilled, and service etiquette was sub par - reaching over my colleague and over the table to pass my glass to me, rather than simply walking around the table to me.

Food was nice, but took 30 minutes to arrive. We were warned of long wait times when we arrived though, so that's ok.

Overall, a poor experience, and an embarrassment to us for taking our colleague out for his...

Stopped in to order a quick bite between appointments, I wish I had gone elsewhere. Was initially ignored and server greeted someone else who walked in after me (She did look a little guilty about it, but I guess she had no choice since he was wearing a suit) 2 Providing for a takeaway tea seemed much too hard for her. Server just didn't think it was possible as they serve tea in a pot. Fine, I'll go without. Still paid the same amount. Food took more than 15mins, not sure how because everything was undercooked and very underwhelming. Half a slice of Turkish bread with a sliver of...
