They are apparently the best coffee around the area and are certainly very popular

How ever they do not make the coffee correctly, I am an experienced coffee drinker and I know that highly skilled barristers know to heat the coffee beans to perfection in order to get that zing in your mouth that great coffee brings you

You canot just put staff and machines that grind beans and expect excellence, it is not that simple 😄

I really like the staff and the coffee (although locals say otherwise) is sadly at around 5 out of 10 for me, even with 3 shots in flat white coffee, the earth did not move for me

It is much better than the hotel coffee around the corner at 2 out of 10 but they do put on on a good buffet breakfast, the hotel

The staff were oustanding in the Two Donkeys Cafe, very professional, attentive, warm and friendly. I loved them 😘

Give them barrister training boss

The cafe is conveniently located on the main street with a walk way alonside to the hotel that was asthetically pleasing

It is very common for cafes to have horrible sit and chairs or stools that are really uncomfortable, Two Donkeys follows this trend

Why on earth not put comfortable seating, I cannot imagine, I sat outside on a low wall which was more comfortable

I think it is a rouse to make customers leave quickly, and certainly they do 😆

It is a nice place but it could easily be wonderful... the staff are wonderful, and I appreciate that. Good job guys 🤗

Disabled access and on street parking is all good ♿️

I would double profit if I was...

During my work trip to Brisbane, I had the pleasure of starting my mornings at Two Donkeys Cafe, located near the Amora Hotel. This charming café quickly became my go-to spot for daily breakfast and juices.

The breakfast options at Two Donkeys Cafe were not only extensive but also delicious and satisfying. Whether I was in the mood for a light and refreshing Greek yogurt granola or something heartier like smashed avocado on toast or scrambled eggs and toast, Two Donkeys Cafe had it all.

The Smashed Avo on toast was a personal favorite, with perfectly ripe avocados spread generously on crispy toast, topped with a sprinkle of seasoning that added just the right amount of flavor. The Greek yogurt granola was another standout, with creamy yogurt, crunchy granola, and a medley of fresh fruits that made for a delightful combination.

One thing that stood out to me was the quality of service at Two Donkeys Cafe. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Whether it was recommending menu items or accommodating special requests, they were always eager to help.

My experience at Two Donkeys Cafe was nothing short of excellent. From the delicious breakfast options to the top-notch service, it was the perfect way to start my day during my stay in Brisbane. I would highly recommend this café to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying breakfast experience...

A friend and I attended the two donkeys due to convenience as it’s located under our hotel. We both ordered chicken burgers that had mayo in them and aioli on the side for the chips however, they arrived and there was no aioli. I told the waitress then she brought over tomato sauce instead as they were out of aioli. The burger itself was not enjoyable the chicken was dry - hard to eat and the mayo was missing from the burger. I took the chicken off and just ate it without after 3 bites. Coffee was not enjoyable nor the atmosphere as there was no music on so it was just quiet. Unfortunately my friend and I even had to go elsewhere to buy a drink and wash the taste of the burger out of our mouths. I don’t usually write reviews but I’m on holiday from Sydney and this...

A friend and I went in here. It was a week day. We where the only ones there, it was raining and the aboriginal waiter said it’s a quiet day going to be slow. We ordered a coffee each and she had the big breakfast and I had a eggs Benedict on a croissant. The coffee was very bitter 30 mins go by and the waiter walked over and said sorry it’s taking so long the cook Didn’t get the order so we won’t be long. Well we waited over 30 mins for our food and my eggs where more like hard boiled eggs! It was awful I left most mine there. My friend ate hers because she is not fussy! I love good food I’m an amazing cook so I have such high expectations!
