Binggo — Restaurant in Brisbane City

We were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely selection of coffee, tea and desserts available. Cute ambience and and a lovely venue to chill out after a meal. We loved our Wafflesandwitch and would have loved to try more items from the range. We ordered the Green Sencha Tea and the Serenity tea which were born delicious. The staff pretty much leave you alone once the meals are served and we didn't feel rushed to leave even after we finished. It's a rare quality in a restaurant / cafe that I really appreciate when dining out. I think next time, we'll skip dinner and just head straight out to Surabing for dessert. It would be great if they had more comfortable seating but I can see nobody would ever leave if that...

If Bingsoo (Korean Ice Shaved milk) is a novelty you haven't tried in the Southern suburbs of Brisbane check out Surabing. The Ice cream and milk flakes are like eating sweetened snow. A tiny mini Cafe situated in the busy Market square garden with plenty of parking space.

Ordered the Strawberry Bingsoo and it was refreshing, creamy without the heaviness of traditional ice cream. Topped with whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Nice and light summer snack. Falls short of a 5 star as the Strawberries were a tad sour still juicy though. They also have Mango and other flavours as well as coffee.

There are very few places in Brisbane where you can get authentic bingsu and this is one of the better places! Didn't realised how great bingsu is until I had theirs. Tucked in a long alleyway of Asian restaurants, most people would miss it. Just look for the black coloured walls and a huge poster of assorted bingsu combinations and you should be able to find this hidden gem.

I do wish that they change their take-away container to something that you can actually take home and eat. When I ordered a take-away bingsu, I also purchased all the add-ons (cheese, and all) and the cup was almost overflowing, I had no choice but to eat it on my way back to the car. Not complaining, just...
