Cafe Chez vous — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Friendly, convenient, fancy-like & satisfying. "Café chez vous" translates from French to English as "Coffee at your place" or "Coffee at your home." While I don't drink coffee, it certainly lives up to its name in all other aspects. Some larger meals options would be nice, but hey, I should have smaller meals anyway. There are some vegetarian options. It's a great place for meeting up with someone being opposite central station. However seating inside is limited and outside could be noisy. It is is more ideal for a quick bite or coffee on the run. Our business is in the same building so it is ultra convenient for me. I come in about twice a week. Coffee is always perfect and every so often I treat myself to a bacon Benedict which is amazing (I dream about this sandwich). This morning I walk in to a line of about 8 people waiting to order. I almost left because I had to get to work BUT the coffee was worth being late for. I wasn’t late though… because the owner was making the coffees and he started making the orders of the regulars in line. I was so amazed by this and delighted because the line was moving quickly and I could place mine soon… but then the owner called out my coffee. All the staff are so friendly. Brilliant location directly across the road from Central Train Station. This place does pretty brisk business in the mornings for coffee. They're also really good value and make delicious food! We stopped in briefly for a quick bite and drink with some time to kill and ordered the BLT and chicken and pesto sandwich/foccaccia. Beautiful tasting food. I also got a petite chai latte with almond milk, and hubby got a drink out of the fridge. We also got a mango/ passionfruit pastry to go. Total $42.
