Checked out the latest BBT brand from Taiwan to make a foray into Australian shores and tried 3 drinks:
purple sweet potato milk green tea with bubbles, minimal sugar (minimum level for this drink) no ice, $8.50 Not bad. The taste of purple sweet potato only really hits in the first one or two sips, then seems to wear off. Pearls have a decent level of chewiness to them.
lychee guava green tea with aiyu jelly, fixed ice, minimal sugar, $8.50 Pretty nice. Lychee flavour (and sweetness) is more prominent than the guava. Could well go with zero sugar next time. Was told this is a crushed ice drink which I thought meant it was going to be like a slushie, but that's not the case.
wintermelon with lemon, $2 (promotional pricing; normally $7) This tasted a bit different to what I was expecting but I think it's because I usually just have wintermelon straight, and am probably not accustomed to to having it mixed with lemon.
There is some seating available for dining in. Takeaway is a convenient option with the cup carriers supplied.
With this experience, their pretty cups and interesting range of flavours, I'll be keen to return and try other drinks the next time I'm...

When I went to pick up the drinks, the two staff members were sitting down, looking lazy and more focused on their phones than helping customers. Their attitude was very poor.
When I asked for a bag, they told me I had to pay extra for it. This made me really unhappy, and honestly, I don’t feel like ordering from here again. Also, the toppings in the drinks seemed less than usual. If the drink quality is going to be inconsistent every time, I won’t be coming back.
I wanted to support a Hong Kong-owned business, that’s why I made the effort to drive a long way to get the drinks. But the result I got was really...
Read morewhilst working in the area lately I stumbled across Chun Fun How, when looking for some lunch. The catchy décor caught my eye and as I had never tried a Bubble Tea before I thought I would give it a try. The staff were fantastic, and since it was my first ordering I was guided through the process. Went for the Ceylon Milk Tea for my first order and I loved it. Was back the next day to try the Lychee as that had also caught my eye. Will be in to sample more flavours when next...
