Enjoyed our foodie catchup at this iconic location, despite some initial disappointment with food selection. We perused their online menu prior to our date, and some had their hearts set on specific dishes, however we discovered upon arrival that the in-store menu was quite different to what we saw on their website, with items like the yuzu soba nowhere to be found.
I went with the baked cheese spicy beef. Others on the table also chose the lemon creamy salmon pasta and the fresh crab and prawn egg sandwich. The food plating and presentation is lovely and all items included some flowers, complementing the garden setting of the main seating area at the back of the cafe. It’s a little oasis of cool and calm that you would not be able to tell if you just walked past the shopfront, so I was glad to have finally experienced it for myself after hearing much of this place.
I wouldn’t say I loved my choice of dish, though it was fine as a meal. Had samples of the other dishes and they’re all pretty decent. I’m no authority on the topic but I hear their coffee is pretty top-notch. All up I think it’s a place I would be happy to return to from time to time, as I feel it offers a good overall package of food and ambience. They also have a pastries cabinet which I might try next time.
As a bonus we paid via Payo and got 15% off. (If you haven’t already signed up, use code EWXG4S to get $10 credit after your first payment.)

Read moreGreetings,
We spent all together $69 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. Is this rlly a bang for ur buck.. meh not rlly. Let’s start off w what worked well.. Gochujung butter chicken udon was pretty appetising, did not live up to my expectations nor the flavours danced on my tongue in harmony. But for a brunch dish it gave what needed to be given. The chicken was delightfully tender but unfortunately, lacked flavour. The char on the chicken was a nice addition though. The presentation was absolutely stunning. Portion size was great! Charsiu benny was mid.. the toast was just …toast. However, the charsiu…. Wow. Mind blowing. Incredibly tender & flavourful, dare I say better than most chinese restaurants. The presentation was if I’m being honest, ugly. Portion was acceptable. Next, the drinks. The pistachio cream iced latte was just okay. The cream part was sensational but if you’re not a coffee fanatic, this might be too bitter for your liking. The cream and the coffee do not mix the cream just floats on top… keep that in mind. The matcha coconut drink was disappointing. We believe we are matcha enthusiasts, but this sent us into a spiralling identity crisis. Matcha tasted like fish roe tobiko to me??? Maybe my tastebuds are a little off today but I don’t think this was mindfully crafted whatsoever. Overall 6/10 the menu is very unique and we’re intrigued 👀 maybe come back for round 2 as we haven’t tried the lunch menu. The atmosphere made me feel like I was one with Mother Nature, super soothing and relaxing vibes were immaculate. The waitresses and staff 10/10 customer service. Incredibly helpful Would suggest to come for aesthetic purposes but food u can find better out there..
King regards, Erika and Amy

Read moreFirst of all, I love the food and the environment. This is the one and only brunch place in the CBD area that owns its own yard surrounded by plants and high buildings.
This is my second visit and the food was as good as it was from my first visit. Most of the service personnels were friendly and delivered excellent service. However, one thing happened today which made me felt a bit uncomfortable was during the order process.
I told the cashier the food I would like the order then noticed the signage shown that 'get 15% off using Payo'. Then I asked whether I could download the app now and use it as the payment method. The cashier did not react immediately. She later said that it takes a while to sign up Payo. In that case, I felt embarrassed and quickly said that I will pay directly.
I went back to my seat after making order and it only took me 2 minutes to get my Payo account ready for payment. I reconsider the situation and realised that I could step aside at that time and queue once I ready. I mean, the cashier did nothing wrong while I believe there was a better solution she could provide. I've met so many nice service personnel that they would encourage me to take my time and make the decision in my interest.
There is no big deal and I will definitely visit again for the great food and atmosphere. For people who is reading this review, don't forget to register on Payo for the discount if you were going to...
