Third visit. Today, we went for breakfast. Friendly service, tables available inside and outside. Coffee is quick to be made, and the same is true for the food. Food portions are quite big, so I recommend sharing or going with an appetite. Excellent value! I had the haloumi, egg, and avocado, with gluten free bread, was delicious. Note, photos in order of 1st - 3rd visit. Second visit, this time for brunch. There is no table service, so you need to go up to scan QR code or get the menu. You can order from the Skip app or at the counter. The coffee is excellent! My sandwich was good. My friends burger looked amazing. I'd definitely go back again. It's good value here! I liked this place. It's near to where I live so super convenient. They have a few seats/tables inside and outside. Good coffee. The menu has mostly burgers, but if i remember correctly, they have all-day breakfast, too. I had the works burger, and it was amazing. Super impressed by the quality, flavour, sauces used. It was a delicious burger without being OTT like a lot of butgers out there. Amazing value for money. I'll definitely be back.

Cute little cafe tucked away on a side street. The mocha was delicious with Bellissimo coffee. Boyfriend was a big fan of the caramel milkshake. I had a chocolate muffin which was delicious at first with all the choc chips on top but got kind of dry about half way through. All in all, I'd definitely go back, at the very least to get coffee and perhaps try something else from the menu.

Ordered takeaway and the rosti was burnt to a crisp. I can’t believe they would give that to me as a customer. Absolutely not eatable and a total waste of money. Extremely disappointed with this cafes quality of food.

Have been coming to this cafe for some time now and have really enjoyed my experience up until last week where I felt very uncomfortable with an incident which happened whilst I was there within the cafe. I was standing in line waiting to order and there was a gentleman ordering his coffee in front of me and it was appalling to see and witness one of your staff members speak so poorly to and attack this guy regarding the beliefs and meanings behind his tattoo. It was very rude and unprofessional of this staff member I feel and I was left feeling very uncomfortable as were the other people waiting in line. I won't be returning to...

El Cafe was my local for over a year when I lived in Newstead, and it always felt like home. The staff are fast, friendly, and remember your name — that kind of personal touch gives the place a real community vibe. Big shout out to Andy, the owner — just a genuinely great guy.

The banana bread is a winner (always ask for extra butter), and the dine-in lunch options are solid. I especially love the Korean bulgogi bowl — super tasty and filling.

Highly recommend — one of those rare spots that gets the small...
