We came here based on Google Maps ratings, and it did not disappoint. We have a lovely evening here. Live music, light and airy inside and out. This is very close to fine dining. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a great Greek wine menu, and you should try some of it. We did : ) We started with the dips, prawn saganaki and Htapodi. The bread was fresh. The saganaki was delicious, and we used most of the dip bread on the sauce. Superb. As good as what we have enjoyed in Greece. The htapodi was perfectly cooked, tender, in a light lemon and olive oil sauce. The serves are generous and the balance of almost all the dishes was excellent (one of the dips was just too strong on the dill for our liking). For mains we ate the stuffed calamari. It was very well presented. The calamari was perfectly cooked, and tender, but once again the dill was overdone for our taste and we would have dialled it back 70%. To us, dill should be a hint and not the dominant flavour, otherwise it can add a bitterness to the dish. In this case it added bitterness to the spinach. Overall this was a very enjoyable meal. We will certainly come back to try other dishes. Came back again a year later for the delicious octopus and the chicken gyros. Both were superb. Thanks to all the staff.

Absolutely wonderful!! Had a very memorable family celebration that we will never forget. George, Lourdes, the family and staff all made us feel so very welcome and attended our every need. First and foremost, the food was amazing! So fresh, beautifully presented, generous servings and so lovingly prepared we could not have asked for more🙏🥰. The ambience is so inviting, light, bright, lofty ceilings and lovely decor, you feel transported to the Greek islands. The Greek live music was wonderful too. The service was impeccable, so friendly and professional, I was surprised meals for our party of 14 did not take long to serve especially with a packed restaurant on a Saturday night. Bringing a birthday cake was no problem and even more amazing was no cakeage charge. Overall the best dining experience we’ve had in QLD and we will be back for more special occasions. It will be hard to beat. Thank you George and Lourdes for a wonderful night🙏🥰. Looking forward to coming back soon😊

Without doubt food was absolutely phenomenal. The only negative thing I’d mention is that when me and my husband arrived the restaurant we were the only customers, we chose to seat outdoor at the beginning but soon (less than 2minutes) we realised there was a roadwork outside so it was quiet noisy, hence we requested to seat inside instead. However when another group of customers (group of 4) arrived, the waiting staff arranged them to seat right next to our table (LESS THAN 1m distance in between us) while there were full of empty tables around the whole venue. That just seemed so awkward for me (there are so many spaces available why do we have to seat right next to each other? Where is the social distance?), so I requested to swap to another side but the waiting staff didn’t look happy with what I asked for at all. Also I feel they were a bit pushy of keep asking us to have wine/ drinks/ desserts even we have told we have had enough.

The food was fine but the service left a lot more to wish for. Had booked a table indoor but were referred to an outdoor area that was wet from rain and not even set up, despite being pretty much the first guests of the night. When we said we were leaving since the seating was wet, cold and not at all what we had booked they reluctantly changed their mind and seated us indoor in the empty restaurant. No explanation or apologies but an attitude that let us know that it was a hustle and pretty hard work for them… When I mentioned that we actually had booked, they did not even bother replying. We did not get much attention and the different waiters were quite confused and messy. Perhaps we ordered too much food?… The owner didn’t wear a mask which was weird and also very unpleasant since his breath was not too fresh as he poured us the wine. He also only addressed the male at the table, which in this day and age is quite rude. When we left there were still a handful of tables empty. So we are still very confused about why we were first seated outdoor. The females in the kitchen did a good job but with a messy and unpleasant dining experience like this I really hope they will have enough to do...

Thank you for another beautiful evening- what a beautiful authentic Greek restaurant, we have visited many times & never disappointed- always a great experience, we love that this restaurant is owned & run by such a beautiful family ❤️ George front of house with his amazing old school service & love, while his 2 sons provide exceptional service one front of house & the other behind the bar while his beautiful wife is in the kitchen making sure every single meal is delivered with perfection & consistency, this visits was a special one to celebrate my birthday & George went above & beyond letting us make a mess smashing some plates to celebrate with the beautiful Greek tradition- but hey let’s not forget George’s cousin playing authentic Greek tunes - the whole experience at Santorini is authentic & absolutely brilliant- the love, passion & family strength shines through every single time we visit ( we almost feel like part of the family ) highly recommend to everyone who would like to experience beautiful Greek food - best you can get in Brisbane - thanks again for your amazing hospitality & just for being such a lovely down to earth family ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ see you...
