Franc. Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I checked out this cafe yesterday as I had an hour to kill before a physio appointment up the road. I went in quite late at around 3pm, so missed all the food that other reviewers have posted because there wasn’t any at that time. Probably just as well, considering I’m detoxing from a nasty, frequent and expensive King St Bakery and Agnes Bakery addiction for the last few years.

I went looking for a Frappuccino and ended up purchasing an iced coffee on oat milk- a trend I’m a bit late to. It was so delicious, that I went across to Coles afterward to buy some to take home. The staff member that served me, a tall male, was very friendly and knowledgeable, along with the young girl that brought out my drink. There is limited seating in the middle next to other shops. I will endeavour to go back again this time, in the morning so that I can sample some of their food...

Franc cafe. Many things to say. The coffee was lovely, not the best but enjoyable. Unfortunately, the seating was not the best with bad lighting and no real feel but that didn’t really matter to me as I was with my family enjoying my self. The baguette felt unfinished was a little flavourless, “Did not feel like it was finished, needed some chutney or something else to be better, the chicken was a little bland and the roll was hard to cut”. The iced chocolate was said to be good 👍 and worth the money. The waiters were one of the highlights though with a good attitude towards work enjoying themselves working in a lovely clean environment. At approximately 10 a.m. Saturday 15th April, I went to Franco coffee shop. I ordered a pork sausage roll, a scroll, and 2 cups of coffee. My order number was 33. While sitting there waiting for my husband a female staff member asked to take a chair which was OK. Next thing she came back and wanted to take half the table. She then sat 2 more people a down right on top of me. Then she harressed another customer for his chair. We both just wrapped our food up in serviettes and left. I was a visitor to Brisbane.
