The Bakeologists — Restaurant in Brisbane City

overall my experience at the bakeologists has been pleasant, though i do feel some of the pie varieties have been a bit of a let down on occasion, different bakers perhaps? I get the vibe that the name tells you its more of a bakery, but it can feel a little cafe like going off their menu seemingly prioritising sandwiches and rolls instead of really highlighting the baked goods more. but that said, the service is friendly, sandwiches fresh and price is fair. would return, but would like to see more emphasis placed on the pies/sausage rolls to really...

I tried two of the pies today and they weren't anything special.

The chicken and leek one had a nice flavour but I literally only found 3 small pieces of chicken in the whole pie. You'd get more chicken in a poxy frozen pie. The amount of leek wasn't much better.

The steak garlic and mushroom pie was slightly better as it had more filling in it...

Would I go back or recommend this business? Not likely...

I have visited this little delicious smelling bakery 3 times and each time have found it lacking. First was to try the Rueben; it was my lunch break and I was famished. The sandwich did have some good flavours but the meat was all grissle, next was for a pie, suffice to say it was disgusting and the last time was before work, for a coffee; it was burnt and the staff... Rude!

Terrible and expensive food with awful service. Please don't waste your time or money going to...
