I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE CHICKEN!!! But the service OMFG is the worst!! They are the rudest!!

First time ordered the chicken it was 2 years ago and it was not cooked properly, complained and let them see the pics and they said “the chicken is not coming from our restaurant”

Second time, Ordered NOT SPICY and came back to us SPICY, fed my 15 month toddler to only realise it was spicy when she screamed. I called them and said they chicken was spicy, they said it was NOT SPICY, and I said why would I lie about a chicken that was only $17?? She got angry and said “WHY DO YOU THINK I’M LYING?? I’M NOT LYING!!” Then I said no no I didnt say that and I was trying to explain what I said and they hung up. I called again 2 times they didnt asnwer. Called again they answered, I asked why did you hang up? She said “I AM BUSY, I HAVE NO TIME FOR THIS” Omg speechless. I was just letting them know they got it wrong, I didn’t even ask for a replacement.

Ordered the third time, it was right and was so delicious.

Ordered the fourth time, not spicy but came to us a bit spicy My daughter couldn’t tolerate it. (The reason I kept coming back is because my daughter only wants to eat that chicken the non spicy one) This time I could not be bothered to complain, I was so scared if I complained, they will yell at me and bully me again.

Came in last night to order two mix grill platters. Upon entering and approaching the counter there was no greeting from staff. Instead, the owner and another staff member stood either side of my fiancé and I, yelling at each other over shishas/orders being taken out to the wrong tables for several minutes. The staff member behind the counter stood there watching, did not greet us or take our order while the argument was occurring, or apologise. No apology from the owner for the outburst which was extremely rude and unprofessional. We made our order with the staff behind the counter, originally intending to eat in. Decided to change our order to takeaway since we felt so uncomfortable with the atmosphere. Went outside to wait for a few minutes before deciding that we were actually just entirely too uncomfortable to have food from there, given how we saw the owner acting arrogantly toward other customers as well. Went back inside to cancel our order, explaining why and expecting a refund or at least some compensation based on the reasons above. I recently at dined at gad’s with my husband and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and an inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for dinner. The menu offers a fantastic selection of grilled foods. The food was seasoned beautifully and cooked just right. The lamb and chicken we ordered were grilled on point and had that charcoal taste. They also have a variety of dipping options and the most spectacularly seasoned and crispy chips. What truly set gad’s grill apart was the exceptional service. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving and made excellent recommendations. To top off the meal, we indulged in the house-made dessert. The star of the show that night was undoubtedly the rice pudding. It was the creamiest rice pudding I’ve ever had in my life, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture that was topped with amazingly roasted nuts.
