Extremely Disappointed – Wrong Order, No Refund, and Unhelpful Response

This was honestly one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve had.

I ordered falafel — something very simple and clear — and received a completely different meal that I didn’t ask for and didn’t want. There was no explanation, no message, no note — just the wrong food handed to me as if it didn’t matter. It’s beyond frustrating.

What made it worse was how the situation was handled. I contacted Uber expecting a refund, but they refused to help or compensate me in any way. I was left with food I didn’t order and no support at all.

Then I decided to call the restaurant directly, hoping they’d acknowledge the mistake or offer a solution. Instead, I was told to just order again. Seriously? After messing up my order and wasting my money, your solution is for me to pay again? That’s completely unacceptable and incredibly disrespectful to your customers.

This whole experience shows a total lack of care, accountability, and customer service — from both the restaurant and Uber. I paid full price, got the wrong order, and was told to deal with it on my own.

Came for the 100 free pittas day and it was absolutely immaculate. The pitas were soft and fluffy and flavourful (made in house at the start of the day), the filling in both the chicken and falafel pitas were absolutely beautifully balanced with delicate spices. The green chilli sauce was the perfect addition to the mix without overpowering all the ingredients. Had fresh cucumber that was very thinly sliced so the flour wasn’t overpowering. Every bite was amazing, even the last, with beautifully fresh produce.

We ordered some chips as well that came out fresh with such a nice flavourful spice seasoning that matched perfectly with the creamy dipping sauce. Just the perfect balance of flavours all tying in together.

The Red Centre and Desert Sunrise iced teas were earthy and sweet both had such amazing flavours with Australian ingredients. Would 10/10 recommend to everyone that loves good food and drinks, comfy seats, relaxing atmosphere and amazing service. Friends and I have been patrons of the Kazba bar for more than two years. The surroundings are elegant but the service, never good, is now abysmal. Drinks aren’t cheap yet in the last few months there is now no table service offered - despite the place rarely having three tables occupied - surly barman who barely looked at us, when bar food arrived we had to request fork and knife , plate and napkins ! Never got the glass of water. This time we ordered a chicken dish which was as overcooked as dried leather - both offerings.
