So Sushi — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Absolutely appalled at the experience here. I specifically said “NO mayonnaise” on the order and both meals I picked up had mayonnaise. I have an allergy and when I called the venue and requested they remake it, the cashier said “well you didn’t say that you were allergic”.

I shouldn’t need to specify if I’m allergic or not if I have already put “NO mayonnaise” as an additional comment.

When I returned to the venue she gave me a conflicting statement and proceeded to say “the comment didn’t show up” then after showing her the order on my phone, she said “the comment was very small”. If you're wanting a quick great value and even better food with the homey atmosphere then I wouldn't go anywhere else. Had first discovered So Sushi after finding on Ubereats. New to Brisbane I had a hunger craving for Udon receiving the chicken katsu udon with taokyaki and the sushi platter shared between 3 of us it cost us less than 25 each. The food was delicious and the sushi had each of us looking at one and another going "oh wow". Just had the pleasure of going in tonight as I dropped the roomie off to a bar, the atmosphere reminded me of my country town Asian restaurant and the food was amazing again. I have previously ordered delivery dinner from here and it was 10/10 quality, taste and could not recommend highly enough. Sadly talking it up so highly, it did not meet the same quality standards as previously, it may have been due to the influx of orders at the time and the very long wait time but I will definitely try it again and recommend it.
