Zeus Street Greek Ann Street — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Came in with a coupon for a free souvlaki and was greeted at the counter. I showed the girl the coupon and she just kind of stared at me for a few seconds before asking lamb or chicken. I said lamb and then it was just silence while she typed. I added chips but she didn’t ask what size or clarify anything, just asked for my name and said it’d be ready soon.

I sat at a table literally right in front of the counter and waited about 20–25 minutes. Another customer came in after me, ordered, and got their food before me. The same girl even came out to clear a table and looked at me a few times but didn’t say anything until eventually asking if I was waiting on something. I said yeah, I ordered a wrap earlier, and she just walked off without replying, checked the computer, called my name, and handed me a bag that had clearly been sitting there the whole time. No apology, no explanation, nothing.

Food was good but cold by that point and the service just felt super disconnected. Didn’t feel very welcome at all. Hopefully...

Wanted to drop a review for this place because the customer service here is SUPERB.

Customer service roles in 2025 are harder than they've ever been. Overworked, underpaid and customers are so much more entitled and rude since covid for some reason. For that reason, I have come to not expect high quality customer service - I do my best to get what I need and get out of the way and avoid being an annoying customer.

But my god, the handful of times I've been to this place since they opened I have been blown away by the level of service I've received from the staff here. Whatever management are doing, keep doing it!

Just had the most incredible experience at Zeus Street Greek on Ann Street, and I have to give a massive shoutout to the amazing manager, Abbie. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared about our experience.

Abbie’s energy, warmth, and attention to detail turned what could have been just another dinner into something special. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Honestly, she’s an absolute gem and a credit to the entire Zeus team.
