Little Maru Adelaide — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I love the food here, whenever I'm in the city late, definitely the take-home food. But when you say it's meant to be open till 7.30pm on a Saturday, pls be open or at least put a sign up that says will return in 10 or something. I went to the store around 3.45pm, so it was not even lunch time for someone to run and take time off. Like, I take the train, so I literally skip all food choices to get to this as it's on the way. And what do I find, its doors shut with a closed sign, but lights on inside and the open sign running, google also says it's meant to be open. I'm trying to catch the train on time and usually tired after a whole day out, I don't want to have to walk all the way back to try find something. A notice that would have said will be back in such time or so would have been super helpful to decide to stay or...

Suspicious new containers, probably shrunk again. The Wagyu beef is good, but seems to be hard to come by, didn't even bother checking today as it's been absent for over a month. Used to have a surprisingly good chicken & chips but today the chips were replaced with a cheaper fat-cut that doesn't fry up as crisp. Might try it again in a few weeks to see if it's a temporary stock issue. I don't mind inflation, it's a fact of life, but I can't see how trying to hide it with slightly smaller portions or substituting lower quality is a better option.

Edit: Thanks for the reply. Bowl size is likely the same, staff are often quite generous with the chicken. Though the chips are definitely different unfortunately. Maybe it's the supplier that changed them, but they used to fry up crisp, now they are...

I always eat at the main maru restaurant at elizabeth but sadly im in a hurry so i decided to have a take away at this little maru at adelaide its good but somehow feel sad about the extra KIMCHI which is 2 dollars worth put in a very TINY take away container even an infant would not fill its STOMACH 😅😅😅 i wonder the main maru was giving triple the size of it for free and this little maru sell at 2$???? I know i have to pag but the price is a rip off! Check for the attached photo of the container and be the judge😂🤣😂🤣maybe thats what little maru stands for? A spicy dosirak would cost u 18$ at the main and this is 16.30$...
