machi machi — Restaurant in Brisbane City

So I’ve been to the matchi matchi in the city now in sunny bank, all I have to say is that this place really is what ppl say it is . It’s decent I would say..

Nothings like bad with it like the quality of its drinks are really nice and the areas really cute. But the workers were definitely not the best , before going I read the reviews and well I hoped it wasn’t true it was half half true.

Their variety of drinks really great same as the city I think they’re the same amount but the drinks at Sunnybank seeemed pretty disappointing. Me and my friend got a drink . My drink got a regular pearl milk tea and it was like 50% ice when she asked for little ice. I understand it could’ve been a mistake but why do much. The pearls were nice but the actual drink looked kinda sad.

My drink was the strawberry milk with Creme brulee and you would expect like a ACTUAL CREME BRÛLÉE LIKE anywhere else in the world u can get it but IT WAS LIGIT OREOS CRUSHED UP WITH CONDNESSED KILK LIKE HUHHH WHEN WAS THAT CREME BRÛLÉE. However still tasted really nice it’s a good mix but like when was Oreos and Creme brûlée the same??? Someone tell me. The drink was really good tho so I can’t say it’s a horrible paring it’s really good. But the drink had like 20% AIR like they could’ve add more drink then the Oreos then the condensed milk because when I went to open the lid because I couldn’t mix it properly I saw so much air and it was like $9.30 I think somewhere around that price. Ik that matchi matchi is expensive but I expected thr same standard like the one in the city. Quiet dispoiniying. And I’m A BOBA BARISTA AND THIS IS SUCH A SAME LIKE WTH. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Next the area , really cute quiet spaces but the sofas / seating areas were really squeaky like whenever you would lean back if there was someone behind you they would feel u leaning back and hear it too. The area was really nice other than that. Really clean quieter then I thought but more people came later.

The time ajd the workers well that was an issue, as said poor I read through the reviewers and many were saying it takes 20-30 mins for one drink and the workers were really lazy . My experience they weren’t lazy but they weren’t fast. When I came I saw this one customer waiting and he looked like he was there for maybe 5 mins ish and i got my drink BEOFRE HIM HE ONLY GOT A PEARL MILJ TEA. Something that’s not COMPLICted . Also it looked like there was only 2 ppl there so they were quite understaff but it wasn’t many ppl so it was fine. My drink did come fast but it was the only drink that was needing to be made after the customer that was waiting. So the reviews saying that time takes a while yes it’s true and workers yes. The workers weren’t the friendliest and they seemed like they were really bothered for there being customers but that’s understandable but still.

Overal 6/10 this place is decent , pray u come when there’s it’s quiet and hope u get a good drink that’s not hella pricey for such little drink. I would come again...

I really like the drinks here. I have bought here a few times, I have ordered on uber eat a few times, but my direct experience with the staff at the store really disappointed me. The first time I bought and arrived at 9pm, the panna cotta was out and so were some other items, I ordered 2 drinks but the staff did not ask my friend what size his drink was. He wanted a large but when the staff brought the drink to the waiting table, it was a medium but he wanted a large and the staff's attitude was extremely unpleasant to us. The second time was today we arrived at 9:15pm, I ordered 1 drink and the attitude of one staff made me extremely uncomfortable and I went back to order another drink and the attitude of another staff was no better than the last time. Stuffs’ attitude is terrible. And they are really bad at dealing with the problems. We were in the line to get the 3rd year anniversary set. The staff counted and told us we were the No.49 so we could get the set. But they told the people in front of us they already sold out. When we explained to them we’re been told that we can get the set “twice”. Which meant we had waited for 2 hours for the set that the staff promised us. The staff responded if we talk nicely then she would try to help us out. But we didn’t yell and curse when we explained. She just told us that’s not her fault.
