The shop offers a wider range of flavours and the severing on the 2 scoop for $9 is generous, however, the ice cream is kinda meh. Particularly when there used to be such a delicious gelato a few years ago. The ice cream at miss gelato tastes like ice confectionery that you can get a the grocery store and not real creamy icecream, there’s a strong water flake texture in both the ferero and boysenberry flavours. The flavours themselves are not very rich and quite weak.

Finally we have a gelato shop again at Coorparoo Square! We tried the Vegan Hazelnut - it was delicious and oh-so creamy. I loved the hazelnut flavour too. It's hard to find different, interesting and creamy vegan ice creams that are not just sorbets.

We also tried the Tiramisu - this was average, more like a chocolate ice cream with chocolate swirls. No real taste of a proper tiramisu. Their other flavours like the roasted pistachio looked interesting !

I’ve been to Miss Gelato a few times now, and I always end up getting the pistachio milkshake — it’s hands down my favorite. It’s not too sweet, really creamy, and you can actually taste the pistachio (not that fake flavor some places use). It’s super refreshing, especially on hot days.
